And a lot of people hated LoS...Now LoS dont seem like such a bad game does it?
Im usually open for new designs and stories and characters, I actually loved LoS and Cynder, but this... this is not Spyro! He looks like some freak from Spore! Why would they do that to him? TT_TT
I hope this is not the rumoured Spyro's Kingdom...

My first reaction was "Nooooooo D:". I see that they have gone back to something more along the lines of classic Spyro, when looking at the levels and gameplay and somewhat the style/atmosphere, and appreciate that. But I really don't like the idea of over 30 new playable characters seemingly just made to be bought and collected, all trying to share Spyro's throne.
If they were old characters, like Bentley, Sheila, Agent 9, Hunter, Sgt.Byrd, Elora etc, and Spyro didn't look like a Spore creature, I would've been more open to the game, especially if it had something more like this.

I should start a petition to change Spyro's name in this game. If his name was Spike and had a dragonfly friend named Sparky, I bet none of you would be ticked off, even though he is obviously meant to be a Spyro-like character. Actually, someone else make the petition.

Here's what would happen in two different cases:
if his name is spyro:
Fans go all "THIS ISN'T A SPYRO GAME! THIS SUXORZ!!!1!1!!!!"
Activision only gets sales from only the target audience (6-12 or so), and the game's hype dies after a few weeks.

if his name is NOT Spyro:
"Hey look: Skylanders has a character that sort of looks like Spyro. I'll have to try that."
Because Spyro fans are intrigued, rather than appalled, the demographic will go up to the range of 8-20 (possibly) and the game will have a LOT of coverage. It will be "The Cool Kids' Webkinz."

It is only slightly more a Spyro game than Smash Bros is a Mario game.

At least the Batman film reboots still kept Batman and the Joker...

Come on, Sparx has to be here along with Spyro. After 13 games, Sparx shouldn't disappear.

And everyone is against this Spyro design. Activision should tweak the design - maybe making Spyro's pupils black and maybe a little bit of face work.

At least if they won't change the design, I will have two other characters to play with (who look much, MUCH better than Spyro), right out of the box.

The water attacking guy looks nicely designed - though, I forgot his name. G something.

Now i'm not hating on Final Fantasy 13 i actually liked it(Even if its as linear as TWEWY)but even i doubt no one in the world can name their son Snow or their daughter Vanille Cid maybe buts that about it.

I would'nt put it passed em.

Are they for serious? The graphics are HORRIBLE! Those graphics are DS-like. As for spyro? Kill it....

I'm turned off from this game...seriously, I am. It's not worth the money. The toy thing is stupid. UGH.

I dunno, the graphics look pretty good to me. And I'm one of the people who isn't looking forward to this game.

They look like 360 and PS3 graphics. I don't see what's so horrible about it, unless you're a Spyro fan who hates the upcoming Skylanders...

I'm saying the graphics are not as good as other graphics I've seen. Take enter the dragonfly for example, or a hero's tail. Those two games are older games that have better graphics than this game here. To me the skylander's graphics are a bit on the boxy side. It's hard to explain really. But that's just me. I respect your opinion.

I have played all the games 100%, with the exception of the japanese and pal region versions. And I can't seem to tell what game the second from the top left and second from the bottom left are from.

Does anyone know where they are from?
