While Spyro has Things that would even restrict Age limits if the rating knew of the past the radar crap it snuck in

Spyro gained popularity right before Mature rated games became marketable significance. After that, anything that was rated E was considered childish for older people. And by older people, I mean like high schoolers.

WHAT IS THIS? i wish they'd just remake the old Spyro games in better quality, or not do anything at all. When it comes out we should all go to gamespot and give it terrible reviews and low scores. Cuz it's gonna b bad.

have some bad news... for me at least...
apparently, the new game will not have online gameplay. However, it's still possible that updates via the internet will be available.

No, I wasn't offended. When I was in 4th grade, my classmates were obsessed with Halo and in 7th they were obsessed with GTA, 9th grade it was Call of Duty games. Pokemon was shunned, Spyro was forgotten, and Kirby was "gay". There is still obsession over Bioshock, Fallout, Modern Warfare and Duke Nukem, but appreciation for E-rated Kirby, Spyro, and 90s mascots has definitely returned. Cliche' M-Rated games lose a lot of hype after just a year, Unique M-rated games lose some hype after a year, and the good E/T-rated games remain popular after years.

What a deligtfully narrow minded thing to say. You cannot begin to imagine how sick and tired I am of people complaining about this game. It especially helps that you didn't even tell us WHY the game's bad, outside of just assuming we all agree with you.
I'm guessing you hate it because it's different? Because Spyro looks "ugly" and the toy aspect is "a stupid scam to get money off of children?" Or because it's not a "real" Spyro game because it's a reboot with all-new characters? Or because- No wait those are the only reasons I've ever heard anybody hate it for. Nevermind the actual gameplay, which we've only had one trailer to judge it by.
As for remaking the Spyro games, I personally think Activision is physically incapable of producing a Spyro game as good as the original three, so really they shouldn't even try. We'd just get a bunch more Enter the Dragonfly and Hero's Tails.
EDIT: I thought of another reason you may hate Skylanders: Because all the cool kids hate it.

Of course, not all Skylanders haters are like that, but I suspect the vast majority in places like Youtube...

the nice thing about this is, is taking your "progress with you".
like, going to a friend, and yeah..put the statue on the reader and there you go xP
I wonder if there are like..parts you can attach to the statue itself. like armor or anything.. dunno, just to make it look..more progressed and own style, rather than everyone having the same statue 
It's very new for a method of gameplay I think, everything for me about this game is positive, although, the only downers I have are Spyro's design, and the elements of making this a 'real' spyro the dragon game has been taken away a little. I mean, they could've just made this with any character really.
it's like Kirby's Epic yarn. they totally removed the suck attack, making this a game which could have been any character. it just the removes the unique element of the character's gameplay.

If its any consolation, I think Spyro will still have most of his moves from the originals (flame, charge, headbash, ect...). Of course, considering the basic premise of this game is that it can be played with 30 different unique characters, I'm not sure the gameplay will be "Spyroey," considering not all characters can glide.

I doubt Sparx is in the game, otherwise he'd have shown up in the trailers. Skylanders is pretty much just a completely different series from Classic and Legend of Spyro, so I think Spyro is the only old character. This is annoying because they could very easily have Sparx follow the onscreen character around or have Hunter be a toy or something, but I guess the designers just decided to restart everything fresh...
