Why Trigger Happy is the Best Sklanders Character

When I first saw the new characters for Skylanders, I was initially unimpressed. Spyro was okay, but then there were characters like Eruptor and Gill Grunt. I was like, "Oh, wow, fire and water characters. *yawn*"

That's when I saw Trigger Happy.  cool

But why is Trigger Happy so special, you may ask? See, most of the characters' backstories were something like "X used to live a peaceful life until the bad guys came and now he fights evil" But Trigger Happy's backstory stood out to me. It was just, "Nobody knows where he came from, but one day Trigger Happy showed up with his guns to shoot things."

Also, he's a treasure hunter, but instead of spending his money, T-Happy uses it to SHOOT PEOPLE IN THE FACE. Tell me that is not the coolerst thing ever!

Because that's what TH is all about: Shooting people. It's what seperates him from the generic "water type monster, fire type monster, earth type monster..." monotone. And that's why I think he's the coolest character in the game (besides Spyro, of course).1150_triggerhappy_2.jpg

Oh wonderful, just what I needed to hear. Sarcasm.

You know, some of us are actually trying to enjoy this game. Isn't that what games are for? Fun?

(If you couldn't tell, I'm mad at the insinuation that to be fan of Skylanders you must be an easily amused idiot. If you just meant Trigger Happy is an easily amused idiot, that's okay because it's part of what makes him cool.)

I can't believe you guys are taking this seriously; of course he isn’t well developed or complex. He's just one bad dude and I would let him save my president.

You don't have a president. You've got a queen.

Re: Why Trigger Happy is the Best Sklanders Character

Maybe I don't, but you can't just buy presidents from a shop.

On topic, you think the developers could be bothered with a backstory for every one? We'll be lucky if we get Tekken amounts of character-specific scenes.

Re: Why Trigger Happy is the Best Sklanders Character

I don't think this game is suposed to have a proper story, like Mario.

Trigger Happy doesn't have a backstory. He is a force of nature, like lightning, and he'll shoot anyone who disagrees. *dramatic thunderclap*

Seriously, though, I'm guessing it'll be like Marvel Ultimate Alliance where the story is made generic for all characters with maybe a few character-specific dialouges.

Also, good news, Trigger Happy fans! We've recieved confirmation that Trigger Happy comes with the game along with Spyro! SO MUCH AWESOMENESS WITHOUT EVEN HAVING TO GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO BUY IT! Also, that Gill Grunt loser comes with it, but who cares about him? O:)

I think it was in one of the articles the "All the info you need to know about this game" topic linked to.

Sounds like a mean powderball. I hope he has a crazy laugh to fit the bill... it seems to fit him.

Yeah, I'd kind of like to hear any voice acting in this game at all, for that matter.

Re: Why Trigger Happy is the Best Sklanders Character

there has to be voice acting, even if it's just for the little grunts or squeaks (or whatever) they make when they get hurt, or get put into the game or something tongue

Re: Why Trigger Happy is the Best Sklanders Character

Well, obviously Trigger Happy, Spyro, and the other characters are voiced by some voice actors, doing the vocals and dialogues...

Re: Why Trigger Happy is the Best Sklanders Character

I'd still like to hear, I dunno, Spyro speaking English, but we'll have to wait for more trailers and stuff first.

UPDATE: Alright Trigger Happy fans, we've got those trailers and stuff I wanted. Not sure if anyone's gonna talk, but we do know some new stuff:

1. It would seem T-H is part of the "main trio," so probably he's a main character.

2. He has a catch phrase: "NO GOLD NO GLORY!"
