STUPID THEORY WARNING!
Remember the Subspace Emissary campaign? Basically, the fighters live in a free world, and then an evil master drops black-holes and sucks the 30+ characters into another dimension. Near the end, everyone turns into statues. Could Skylanders be an alternate universe of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, in which the Dedede badges were not present? Also, Kaos looks like a less menacing, less powerful version of Tabuu.

In a somewhat related topic, I am trying to organize and write a spyro-MLP crossover fanfic that connects LoS with Skylanders while experiencing things in the land of Equestria, all in one story.

The way the story ends is entirely dependent upon Spyro's canonized origin as the Skylanders game tells it. But I'd like to tell the story like it could have been LoS 4.

That'll be good. It's unfortunate when you find out how many casual fans on fanfic sites don't really take the time to read fanfics, especially when they're good. I've decided to write the story for myself, for that reason. But anyone who would like to read should have the enjoyment of my imagination as well. Spyro will travel "through space and time" to the land of Equestria during the time of the Princess Wars, which is the fanon time period for when Luna was first transformed into Nightmare Moon, 1000 years before Friendship is Magic present time.

That was a refrence to Sonic The Hegehog the part when Tabuu is trying to turn everyone into trophies after King Dedede, Ness and Luigi save them. Sonic comes in and destroys his wings. In Subspace Emisarry.

Anyway sounds awesome riverhippo I hope I can check it out one day.
