*comes back after being gone for who knows how long* Hi. Anyone remember me?

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone likes the idea of a contest on Deviant Art involving creating a Skylanders OC. But there's a twist: the OC has to be related by blood to one of the characters. Or in my case, two...Stealth Elf x Flameslinger offspring anyone? No you can't use that idea smile Lol I saw they were opposite gender elves and immediately thought "pair them up!"

I'll need people interested in entering, obviously, but I'll also need prize donators, and possibly judges. So who's interested?

Blood relationship? That's one of the defining traits of a bad OC. You'd have to be careful.

I know those sorts of OCs can be mary sues/gary stus, but I assure you, I'm experienced enough at character creation to avoid that. Also, I won't let the sues and stus win. That's for sure...

Heck, I'll make everyone take a mary sue test and include the results with their entry. And I'll extend it to any relationship, as long as the character knows the canon character in any way, they qualify. You see, I want there to be a point to the contest. Something that'll make people have to really wrap their mind around the Skylanders world and make a character that fits in a major way.

I don't know enough about it to do that, to be honest, but if you want I can put up a thread in the contests section of the forum and let people know about it. We haven't had a contest in a while and this seems like a pretty good idea.

Yeah, that would be nice. Make sure you say:

-The OC must have a relation to one or more canon characters, doesnt matter what kind.
-Taking a mary sue test will be required.
-The contest will be held on DeviantArt.
-We need people to donate prizes.
