Missing Gems and Eggs?

During my Let's Play of Spyro: Year of the Dragon, I have experienced several problems. I am worried that the ROM I use is hacked.
Here's a list of the problems I've experienced so far:
•'Help Bobby get home' egg disappears from the Atlas after I get it.
•There are 5 missing gems in Midday Garden home.
•There are 5 missing gems in Sgt. Byrd's Base.
•There is a missing gem in Icy Peak

My YouTube channel is here if you want to see the problems for yourself: http://youtube.com/user/hwd405

So... Can anybody tell me what the problem is?

EDIT: I know the problem now. Here's the other issues I experienced:
•Cutscenes don't have audio
•'PDX Paradox' appears on startup- it must be a cracked version.

Are you using an emulator on your computer or are you playing it on a real
PS1? I use an emulator, and I have no problems. Yes, I got my game from a
torrent in order to play it without a disk, but I also own a real copy of the
game. Either way, try to find a different copy of the game.

I found out it was a hacked ROM, I got a new one and it's fine now tongue

If your original CD isn't scratched too much, you can use some application (like cloneCD) to load it into your PC as *.iso (or mdf, ccd, bin...), so you don't have to use the torrent copy.
