just a quick question

anyone here ever use a Gameshark on their Spyro 3 / YOTD game?

if so, i would like to know which version of the game you have. not NTSC vs PAL, i mean Greatest Hits vs Non Greatest Hits, or whatever else is out there.

thanks for your time.

Re: just a quick question

I don't really know how to tell apart a greatest hits and non-greatest hits game...

Anyway, I never used to use gameshark, but recently I used gameshark codes on an emulated version of Spyro 3 to mess about with moon jumping tongue

Re: just a quick question

the "Greatest Hits" version usually has the words "Greatest Hits" on it in REALLY OBVIOUS neon orange and neon green.

Ah, well in England they don't exist. Do you have 'Platinum' games in America? Because maybe our 'Platinum' games are our alternative to your 'Greatest Hits' games...

Re: just a quick question

i don't know. for now, let's assume they're separate things. so would you happen to know which type your emulated copy was?

Re: just a quick question

I have never seen greatest hits PS1 games here in England, I'm certain that platinum is our greatest hits.

Re: just a quick question

And what is the difference between "geatest hits" and "normal" version?

@ ontels - okay, thanks.

@ Blako - have you ever used a Gameshark on it? did it work?

No idea. What I do know is that the Greatest Hits (and presumably Platinum) version is v1.1, whereas the original is v1.0, and that the version I used was SCES-02835. Upon researching for a bit I found that this means it must be the European version of the game (which I knew already), but this does not give me enough information to know which version it was.
