Stewart Copeland's soundtrack brought Spyro's world to life

Hey fellow Spyro fans! I'm a huge fan of the original trilogy, not so much the Legend of Spyro series (but I don't hate it). Stewart Copeland's soundtrack is fantastic and one of my all-time favs. LoS series had decent music, but none of it lived up to Copeland's IMO.

Anyway, I usually just lurk but I thought this article was worth sharing. Basically it talks about Copeland's musical background and why the music is so catchy. Enjoy!

And with that, back to lurking.

Another good reason the Spyro games after Spyro 4 felt dead.
The music and voice acting sucked!

Re: Stewart Copeland's soundtrack brought Spyro's world to life

Great article, I think that explains perfectly how I've always felt about Spyro 1's soundtrack. Spyro was one of the first video games I ever played, and I remember when I started moving on to more games wondering why their music wasn't just as cool. tongue
