Spyro YoTD Demo Differences

Hey guys! So recently I got back into playing my YoTD demo, so I thought I'd make a topic to tell you all some differences from it. Some differences are the egg opening sound is different, some dragon baby names are different, Hunter in the skate park wears red shorts, and more! Here are some vids!

Oh wow... this is interesting! Don't you just love differences between the release version of games and the demos / beta versions?

I propose that we search for every difference and put this stuff up for all to see on tcrf.net. It's a fantastic website, one of my favourites, and it deals with all of this sort of thing.

So, after looking around for a bit, I found this (start from 9:25-ish)

The demo has the same areas and music as the other demo, but it appears to be a much later if not final version of the game, so almost no differences, except perhaps in the names of the dragon eggs, I haven't checked. The reason it's a mostly complete demo? Probably because the game was already released by the time the demo was released, although there still exists the card at the end of each level telling the player that Spyro 3 will be released in 'holidays 2000'... so perhaps it wasn't out yet?

Unrelated: While looking for this stuff I found a video by someone that's subscribed to me and you'd commented on the video. It's a small world, isn't it?

I remember playing this newer demo version on some disk with name somehting like "kids autumn" and I think there was 2000 also.
Oh and there wa still the invisible skateboard glitch that time!

yeah ^.^ it was really difficult to do... I can't reply it now D: but that times I could do it easily.... there was something that you had to do, but I forgot what it was hmm
btw it was so quiet while riding the invisible skateboard ^.^

Have you got to do the thing where you jump in lava until sparx disappears, then just as spyro's tail touches the lava you quit the level? Because I watched a video and it just said to do the 'Molten Crater trick', which wasn't very explanatory hmm

yeah Hwd, and then you do the skateboard thing for 2 minutes or whatever, and then when the screen comes up with your score, quick hit X (so you don't hit a wall) and you have an invisible skateboard that glitches up on tricks a lot.

I did it some other way o _O
there is no way of getting into lava in the demo...

you had to do something like crashing into wall and then immidietly jump into the skateboard generator touching it only slightly or something like that... but I cant really remember

Hmm... Good point. I wonder how it's done in the demo, then? hmm
