pSX v1.13 problem
whenever I start Spyro, start doesnt pop up and spyro is stuck standing there looking around. there isnt even any music either. I configured the controller and mem cards but nothing works
*edit*
i've figured out the problem, theres no .cue file and i have no idea how to fix it.
*EDIT AGAIN*
turns out psx isn't compatible with spyro 3. I realized though that i didnt even convert the cue file with the game, but still, its just not compatible. it works with spyro 1 and 2 tho!

Re: pSX v1.13 problem
Oh, that's kinda strange problem o.O
How do you know it is because of the cue file?
Did you also try it on other emulators?
Where did you get the game? Did you load your cd into the pc using some application, or did you download it from the internet? (unfortunately you cannot sent link to the file (for me to test if it isnt corrupted or something) if you downloaded it, because it is forbiden by spyroforum rules I think...)

Re: pSX v1.13 problem
This would probably get more responses in a section of the forum about Spyro. (Sorry I can't help, though D: )

Re: pSX v1.13 problem
I have ePSXe 1.5.2, and Spyro 3 works just fine. The only problem I have is the menu sound score doesn't play, but that's no big deal.
You could always try and download that version (it still exists, but you will have to look it up yourself) and try it to see if it works. I'm by no means a expert on this kind of thing, but as stated above, perhaps that version is buggy or something.

Why should one download such an old version when the new ones works without any problems? o.O
But I have to admit that on very old compuers, 1.6 is beter than 1.7 for some reason. (idk about 1.8, cause I donŧ have such an old computr now)

Mmm, not really. Sony Playstation X (PSX) is more like a combination
console. Uses different systems in one. [link]

I've always found it confusing, too. It's a good emulator, it's easier to use than ePSXe and usually sprites are displayed better, but there are no shaders and the models display in a somewhat low quality, screenshots don't take in the correct dimensions, it doesn't respond well to screen capture and there are no cheat codes without external programs.
