[YotD] Skateboarding Contest

Thanks to Nobololol reminding me about the contest ideas, we will be having a Year of the Dragon skateboarding competition! This one shouldn't need too much explanation - whoever gets the highest score wins!

Let's do the Sunny Villa park for this one. If this contest goes well, we can do the other ones later. smile

No sign-ups necessary this time... just post your video when you think you've gotten the highest score you possibly can. But if someone scores higher than you, don't let that stop you - you can keep submitting videos as long as you're getting high scores.

By the way, the video should be dated after the beginning of the contest. I'm trusting you all not to cheat and use an earlier video of yours or someone else's video, so please don't! tongue

The prize for winning will be a custom title (I'll try to think of an alternate prize as well for those who already have one) and, of course, bragging rights!

i'll probably participate, it'll just be a bother to crop out from a larger video clip. my phone doesn't allow for large file sizes in video messages, and my phone is my only way of videotaping stuff that can be sent to a computer.

I did an attempt at recording today, and got a pretty good score, but my recording software made a broken video of it >.<

New attempt today, and I got it succesfully recorded:

It's less than 2000 away from my all time top score big_smile

Some tips for getting a really high speed:
Try to stay on the ground as much as you can downhill.
If possible, skip uphill parts by jumping(except when you're going to do tricks on the ramps).
Jump off ramps.
Do small rounds just for increasing the speed.

So ^.^' here is one of the best ones from today. As I can see Sheep already beat me. big_smile It's not the best score I can do! I'll try again soon™ :3

btw I use ePSXe load state instead of give up button, hope that is allowed.
