Re: Is Spyro Still With Activision?
This is from Wikipedia, if anyone's wondering. Just went to the Spyro page to check, and yeah, it's there. Considering anyone can edit Wikipedia, though, I wouldn't put much trust in this until there are other sources confirming.
Interesting that it says "Japan" in parentheses as well. If this is legitimate and not just someone messing with us, my guess is that Square Enix had something to do with the Japanese version of the newest Skylanders game, or something along those lines.
Also, Spyro's Lair (the "official site" from the Wikipedia page that you linked) has been down for quite a while, if I'm remembering right, so that doesn't necessarily mean anything. At least since the release of Skylanders, I'm almost positive.

Haven't heard anything about that, but if someone could find anything, that would be interesting.
Edit: Yep, the Skylanders Wikipedia page says Square Enix published Skylanders in Japan.

I feel like our hopes for Skylander's end is nearly depleted. Stay hopeful, lads!

Re: Is Spyro Still With Activision?
Everyone always forgets my gender.
Maybe Skylanders could continue, but Spyro could still star in his own games? I don't want to say it's likely to happen, but if they can determine that enough people would buy it, I see no reason they couldn't work on both properties simultaneously.
Edit: Haha, thanks, purple_dragon_spyro. XD

Hopes of a new Spyro game hypothesized and shut down in record time.
I'm not sorry if I offended you.

Re: Is Spyro Still With Activision?
I'm going to guess spyro wont be with activision forever, as i play skylanders I've noticed his character has been included less and less.

Assuming this is real. Expect Spyro in mobile devices.
And Lightning cameos. Lots and lots of Lighting cameos.

Re: Is Spyro Still With Activision?
Making moves? I ship it. They better be making moves new otp 5ever <3 It's not impossible that the next skylanders game (or swap force) is the last skylanders game spyro will be in. He really isn't a big part of skylanders anymore (he wasn't a big part in the first place i guess but now he's REALLY not a big part.) But heck who knows. I'm just sayin, I'm pretty sure activision has figured out that their skylander gimmicks and boatloads of characters are good nough to bring in the dough, and spyro is of...how you say, no use to them now. He's certainly not a very popular figure anymore for skylanders, i always see him in stock at walmart, best buy, etc.
