Wikipedia and watchmojo.com can quote about skylanders
The skylanders are great games.
Yet I just don't like them, these are not my games!
But on my biggest dissapointment are even Wikipedia and the YouTube channel watchmojo.com talking about!
my problem: The 'Spyro' in skylanders: Spyros adventures.
Wikipedia:
"Some of the Skylanders available for play include Spyro the Dragon and Cynder, who were both included in The Legend of Spyro series, though Skylanders is otherwise unrelated to the Spyro franchise."
Watchmojo: (top 10 ps1 games)

Moved to the Skylanders section.
That pretty much sums up what a lot of people think about Skylanders here: not horrible, but not my type of game, and why did they have to put Spyro in it?
Others just completely hate the idea without having played it, not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

ITS ONLY THE NAME! THEY COULD HAVE EVERYTHING BUT THEY CHOSE IT TO BE "SPYRO'S ADVENTURE"! I WOULD ALLOW A "GEUST APPEARANCE" BUT NOOOOOO, IT HAD TO BE SPYRO THAT WILL GIVE IT THE BOOST IN REPUTATION!
And i find it pretty impressive to be so furious at a series after only three weeks of knowing a franchise, and I don't even PLAN to own the games...

That is impressive, haha. You would've fit right in in this section a few years ago when Skylanders was first announced. A lot of people were complaining about that very thing.

I found out that the Spyro franchise has and had a great impact on the gaming industries.
I found Gary Oldman on the Graham Norton show.
My favorite gaming magazine mentions Spyro for three times in one magazine.
I see that one of the adresses I need to deliver newspapers to has a truckload of skylanders AFTER ONE WEEK!
And another two YouTube channels mention him (both Spyro and Gary Oldman) too...
It's getting freaky.
Worst thing: a week ago I was standing in a game store, looking trough the ps2 games if any Spyro games where present, and suddenly I hear a kid say to his parents "look, and that's Cynder...". I looked at them as i saw that they were looking at some Skylanders.
And deep inside me I wanted to SPARTA-KICK THE KID OUT OF THE STORE YELLING: "THAT! AIN'T! CYNDER!"
Of course I was in public, so i would be arrested if I actually did that. But still, my day was ruined. And then I ate shoarma and everything was good.

They need to do some research before posting information. I love Skylanders but yeah.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
