Well, I'll be taking part in getting a closer look at the game. It's going to be the first time I've ever been to a big game convention like E3.

I assumed most people on this forum agreed with me on this, but I guess you don't, which is fine. The only other regular visitor to the forum who likes Skylanders that I can name off the top of my (tired) head is Mr. John. Sorry for discouraging you.
On another note, E3 looks like it'll be great, though. I heard Nintendo is announcing three new Smash Bros. characters. But, now this is off-topic.

in her defense, the games must be a *little* decent if they've gone on this long - even if they're not what you or i want. you don't see Check Six making a bunch of Enter the Dragonfly sequels for example, do you?

on topic, have fun at E3. i'm sure it's interesting.

Just keep in mind that opinions about games are just that - opinions. 36 is right: Just because you hate Skylanders doesn't mean everyone else does.

You can have your opinions, and you can talk about them where it's appropriate, but it's pretty rude to come into a topic like this and troll someone who doesn't agree with you. This is probably part of the reason why we don't have a large fanbase for Skylanders - everyone's so vocally negative about it.

Anyway, I know the convention will be jam packed, and I'll likely get lost in there until I find the skylander group, or I get a map.

Just ignore him, I personally do not consider Skylanders a full Spyro game but I cannot really judge a game that I played for 5 mins.

I've never been to such a big game convention, only to some meetups. Hope everything goes well and don't forget to double-check you didn't forget anything at home when you go there!
I might go to a first czech MLP con this summer :3 so many people I barely know.

Stormy and I went to Minneapolis Comic Con a few weeks ago plus a couple small anime cons, but never anything as big as E3. How did you manage to get tickets for it?

I was actually invited by Activision, since E3 isn't a general public event.

And don't worry bout everyone else not everyone likes Skylanders but hey their free not too and that's fine it's their option. It is what it is.

Of topic for a second Flapjacks that would be sick if their were three characters announced for Super Smash Bros guess we'll see.

I've always wondered how to get invited to these events. I was just reading how someone else got invited and they barely do anything besides monitor a small website with barely any incoming traffic.

A friend of a friend will be going to this event too, so fingers crossed I'll still get my grubby little paws on the exclusive villain! big_smile
