Spyro Collectors?

I know we've had a few topics like this, but I was just wondering - Are there any actual Spyro collectors around here anymore? I know a lot of people have the odd Spyro plush, but I'm curious to see how many other Spyro collectors are still out there.

Re: Spyro Collectors?

Not sure if it counts, but I was collecting all the games up until Dawn of the Dragon. Actually got rid of ANB and TEN a while ago, though.

But as for merchandise and stuff, I don't have a serious collection anything, but I have a plush and a fan made sticker on my 3DS that I bought at a con. tongue I had an inflatable Spyro, but it got holes in it the same day I bought it. hmm

I'd say it still counts! Shame about the inflatable though. I think I know which one you're referring to.

Re: Spyro Collectors?

Other than the games(all except mobile games, GBA/DS versions of console games, and Skylanders), I only have a Spyro plush where the upper body(head, wings, front legs) is separated from the lower body(hind legs and tail) by a yellow spiral. I think there also is a suction cup connected to his head for him to hang from.

Re: Spyro Collectors?

i don't consider myself a collector, but i have some Spyro stuff. three stuffed animals (might only have one now -- i don't remember if the other ones went with the donation pile or not), i have some little Spyro games from a fast food thing, i have a TLOS Spyro toy that when you press a button on its back, the wings flap, i'm sure i have other stuff, but it's not coming to mind right now.

i have some non-licensed stuff, like a hoodie, a magnet with the Spyro 1 cover art on it, and a DOTD mousepad.

I think I know which one you mean - The slinky? I don't see those very often anymore.

I've seen the hoodie. I don't normally go for non-licensed merch, but I'm pretty tempted by it.

Re: Spyro Collectors?

Yeah, I got mine from the Minnesota State Fair. Which means it was probably very overpriced, but I was pretty young and was also willing to buy entire consoles just to play a Spyro game or two, so... tongue
