Sheep's Avatar Got Me Thinking....
Sometime in the future, I'm thinking that mobile phones will get the full set of PS1 Spyro games in the phone stores. It might not happen with iOS devices at that time, but it might happen with the Sony Xperia phones. I've heard that you can now play PS4 games on the go with them.

If you have an android device, you can download a playstation 1 emulator and play Spyro pretty easily on there. My tablet, which is about 3 years old runs it and other ps1 titles perfectly fine.
I'm not sorry if I offended you.

This.
And there will probably (maybe definitely) be no Spyro app for simple reasons:
To make the game they need Activisions permission which will by 97% chance of "no".
They would not actually make much of it to consider it worth it (Its all good you and a few others playing it but will bring in no profit)
It will be a lot of hassle to make since they simply cannot drop it into an APK (Android app pack) and call it a day since it was designed to run on only the PS1.
Also, the Xperia does something called "cloud gaming" which means nothing is rendered or processed on the phone, its only a interactive screenshare of your PS4.
