Spyro at AGDQ 2016

For those who don't know, AGDQ (Awesome Games Done Quick) is a speedrunning event that's livestreamed on Twitch which showcases all sorts of games and speedrunners. They accept donations which go towards the Prevent Cancer Foundation. It's always fun to pop in to see games you enjoy.

An any % run of Spyro the Dragon is being held tomorrow (Saturday) around 10:30 Central Standard time, with an estimated time of 45 minutes. Check out the schedule here, and if you're interested in tuning in check out the livestream smile

VIDEO (run starts at 11:00)

Aw, I missed it. sad How did the stream go?

Off-topic, but I heard about AGDQ though Stepmania, actually. The guy who was playing (keyboard, unfortunately) got noticed enough for Stepmania to be "trending" on Facebook the other day.

I didn't catch the whole Spyro run, but saw the end (from Beast Makers onward) - it was pretty neat! The event as a whole also raised over $1 million which was pretty crazy.

Yeah, I heard about that too! I also missed that unfortunately. I know you can find all the vods on their Twitch channel, but it would be pretty difficult to sift through since it was a week long event

Re: Spyro at AGDQ 2016

I suppose my wording was a bit confusing; AGDQ was a week-long event that featured a ton of games...Spyro only had one slot tongue The entire event raised 1.2 million.

Re: Spyro at AGDQ 2016

He contributed to the event regardless of one slot. Spyro was featured  and helped raised money for a good cause that's better then anything. Congrats Spyro!
