I am so hyped to see Spyro 2/3!
I mean Spyro 1 stuff is nice but I am itching to see Spyro 2/3. Even a piece of concept art would mean the world to me.

I almost guarantee it'll be shown at E3, and that's just around the corner.

Looks like at least something will be playable at E3! Looking forward to the footage, and hopefully we might see some Spyro 2 or 3

Not just something, but it appears we'll get a look at the entirety of the levels Toasty and Tree Tops!
And best of all, we'll likely get to finally see Elora!!

Avery and Paul two of the main people working on the games. Confirmed Treetop tops, and Toasty as playable levels. So yup definetly going to be some cool stuff.

It's kinda funny. I always felt like Gnasty was the least-intimidating-looking of the three villains, but now I feel the opposite. He's MUCH more fierce-looking now.

Re: I am so hyped to see Spyro 2/3!
Spyro looks great, ready for battle and heroic, Gnasty looks intmadating, Ripto kind of out me off at first but looks great. Sorceress is awesome too. Stone Hills, Skelos Badlands, and Metropolis look awesome.

Really? I always felt the exact opposite. I mean Ripto was a shorty and the Sorceress was basically dino-Ursula.

About the Switch version. It seems we won't get it till next year Crash N. Sane Trilogy wasn't ported to Nintendo Switch till this year. So maybe same with Spyro find by me I can wait. Just a guess though.

Yeah. It might have to do with the fact his boss battle felt so anti-climatic where the others put up more of a challenge.

That's perfectly understandable. I really hate how they literally just gave the final boss two hits.

Oh, I know! Not gonna lie, I won't mind at all if they change the battle up and give him more hits or something.

Re: I am so hyped to see Spyro 2/3!
I could be wrong, but I always figured the reason Gnasty and all the other Spyro 1 bosses only took a couple hits had to do with the newness of the 3D platformer genre. The industry later worked out that "boss" = "arena fight against strong bad guy" whereas before you were almost fighting with the level more than the boss itself.

That could be true and definitely makes sense. All the more reason for them to maybe spice up the battles a bit. However, seeing all the E3 footage and the Toasty battle now, they probably won't change anything. One thing I have noticed though is that the sheepdogs do seem to be slightly harder to kill than before. At least they seem so to me in the way that they follow Spyro more directly when they jump at him. Before they seemed much easier to dodge if that makes sense. I'm terrible at explaining things, lol.

I think that's mostly due to the fact that they simply have more lively animations then they did in the originals. From what I've seen, the timing of their reactions and everything else seems right on par, it's just a bit harder to keep track of them since now they sorta flail themselves all over the place in the air. Again, I think their timing and positioning of their attacks are spot on, just that the animation of their movements are a lot more busy now, if that makes sense.

"flail themselves all over the place in the air" Sorry, that made me laugh. That must be it though because they do seem to do that.

I as well have noticed that so far we've only gotten glimpses of the first game but the second 2 are my favorites hence why I kept them and not the first one.
I'm looking very forward to seeing them with this beautiful new animation.

Re: I am so hyped to see Spyro 2/3!
I'm honestly kind of sad that we basically haven't seen anything (other than portions of a cover art photo that may have been leaked unintentionally) from Spyro 2/3 during E3 this year. I was sort of expecting we would.
