Spyro: Year of the Dragon...gem finder cheat

I was wondering if anyone had the cheat code to make Sparx point at the nearest gem in the world you're in. I have one I got from a website buuuut....it doesn't seem to be working. Thanks in advance.

mostly for that cheat to work you have to press all R1 R2 L1 L2 buttons for sparx to find them

Doesn't that only work for Spryo 2: Ripto's Rage? I tried it with the third one, and it just straightens out my camera angle. Thanks anyway.

yeah it also worked for the third one i believe it did anyway you could many cheat sites to find it

No, you both are crazy. Holding down the R1, R2, L1, L2 combination only works in Spryo 2: Ripto's Rage/Gateway to Glimmer.

In Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon, you unlock that power by completing the second Sparx level, Spider Town.

That isn't a cheat. You can get it by doing the Sparx level in the second homeworld (I forgot the name =/).

But you hold all of the back buttons (R1, R2, L1, L2) to make him point to treasure. I never really used it though, mostly because I forgot about it. xD

I think the cheat is Right, Right, Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Left, Circle, Circle, Circle.

The code is R1 R2 L2 L1 RI R2 L2 L1 O O O. Enter it while the game is paused(you will hear a sound if you entered it correctly). When you un-pause it, hold R1 L1 R2 L2 at the same time and sparx will point to the nearest gem. To do this without the cheat, complete the second sparx world.[/url]

That code only works in certain versions.

My black label copy, that code does not work.
My Greatest Hits copy, it does work.

Odd.
