I have to admit

I've disliked this game for as long as I can remember, but I was always playing it for some reason. Probably in hopes that it would get better eventually... I still haven't beaten it, though. O_o

Anyway, despite all of the bad points in this game, I have to admit that I loved the way they made Spyro look. The graphics were mostly funky throughout the whole game, but I just loved the way Spyro looked. They obviously took his image from the first three Insomniac games and enhanced it, which is probably why I like it so much.

I realized this not only a few minutes ago when I saw my younger brother playing in the UFO farm level (I HATE that place) and I couldn't help but notice how polished Spyro's look was. =]

Anyone agree?

Yea! I loved how he looked! I also loved how he likked in AHT he was sooo cute! ANB is just the opposite... :barf:

Yeah, I didn't really like how he looked in ANB. He had a crooked face, if you ask me.

Hey, whining isn't going to solve anything you know! Now, I think that the graphics were the only reason that some people other then true fans bought that crappy game! I t makes me sick just thinking about it! mad

Long story short. Game, bad, Design, good. sad

Yeah. The Spyro look from 1-3 was done really well in ETD and AHT.

@ SpyroxEmber's first post: I beat it, but not completely. I got 95%! I guess you fight Ripto at 98% or soemthing? I've fought him 2 times before getting to 95%. I'm thinking of starting the game again though. I love Cloud 9 and wanna play that level again! big_smile

Yep, that's what I like about it too. Nice dreamy levels and some awesome minigames too! I think my fave minigame from ETD is still "Protect Puffy Palace" where you fly around in a Spitfire blasting the crap outta 4 Airships big_smile

Yeah me too, the graphics are good, with some good dreamy scenery like you said, even though the level design and atmosphere isnt as good as the original to me, your right that its as close as it might get.

And yeah i agree with the original poster about the UFO level, i hate that place too haha.

LoL I didn't mind the level too much, it was the Gold UFOs in the minigame that I hated. Also, when I attempted Trial Of The Platforms this time around, I beat it on the first go! Took me almost 10 times before tongue /:S

actualy the level did grow on me abit,
Cloud 9 is great, kindof reminds me of parts the original. Im stuck on it though haha.

Yeah. It gets a little tricky right near the Exit Portal of Cloud 9. You are required to do some very precise hovers when coming up on the other side of the pre-electrified Pond.

Oh, and I've just noticed, you're the guy from GameSpot right? "Gamecubers are the biggest Tony Hawk fans" sound familiar? smile

Music was awesome, reminded me of Spyro 2 on that level, i love the Ski Music in monkey monestary.
