AHHH!!!!! SQUEEL!!!!!! The moment you have all been waiting for. The TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember when some people on here were talking about seeing the trailer in a movie theater, well it's not a rumor any more, and the people who said they saw it weren't lying because they described seeing Cynder with a chain around her neck and this is in this very video!!!! The new full motion video version of Spyro looks GREAT!!!! Also, Billy West sounds great voicing Sparx!!!! What are you waiting for? Watch it!!!!!!

Wow, a lot of things that they've revealed. I believe at one point Spyro gets corrupted. That's probably where Cynder takes over. Nothing really new in the fact that the bad guys all look the same and it's just elemental powers, but neat just the same.

I said this already but, OMG!

If you just stayed on the site to watch the trailer, stay longer. After the trailer finishes, more TEN footage airs including an interview with one of the guys who works on the game, the old footage we've all seen, and some new footage that includes *gasp* Ignitus doing something to defend himself!

Eee, we get to play more in Convexity! So much awesome! And it looks like there will be a return to Concurrent Skies as well, which is sweet. Billy West definitely makes a better Sparks. Alas, no direct mention of Cynder beyond what we see of her. It's possible she might be a playable character after all.

Either way, I am very excited.

Ack, sorry to be posting twice in a row, but I am now watching the trailer with Quicktime and going through it frame by frame. There is some amazing stuff in there.

They appear to have re-done the end scene in Convexity where Spyro saves Cynder (it looks like they've expanded on it for storyline purposes). One of the early shots is Spyro being pulled into the Dark Master's vortex...thingy...right after an unconscious little Cynder (as we saw in ANB). There's also another scene in this location where Spyro is carrying Cynder out of Convexity as it is imploding in on itself; he appears to be talking to Sparx.

Now here's the real crazy bit. I see a very short clip (which I missed the first couple of times) in which little Cynder appears to be attacking Spyro. o.O Blurry screenshot proof right here!

It does. I saw a cutscene that seems to take place in that same area, though. That area is an arena where Spyro was being forced to fight (he fainted at the end). Maybe he has to fight Cynder? Or this is one of his visions that he's been having. He could be having it while he's unconscious after the earlier fight.

Yeah, I glimpsed that in the trailer. It's looks like they are circling each other before they fight, maybe with some dramatic dialog (hopes it's like Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Anakin/Darth Vader fight in Star Wars Episode III smile )

Would it be appropriate/legal to post a transcript of the trailer here? Because I might try it if my school schedule doesn't get in the way (I start on Monday :'( )

Do you think Gaul could have shot spyro with that green evil-electricity-type-beam (or wahever you call it) more that once???
At the part where cynder pushes spyro out of the of an attacked (or whatever you think she did then), have a look at the red circle in the below screenshot from trailer. From what I think it could be a green electricity bolt????? and cynder pushes spyro (and herself) out of the way of the attack??

SpyroATrueHero: The scene where Cynder and Spyro are circling and the scene where she appears to attack him are two different scenes (the locations are completely different). It's one gigantic mystery with these two right now. I sort of wonder if that scene where Cynder is being led to Gaul isn't part of the cliffhanger ending the creative director mentioned in his interview... And I can't imagine there'd be any problems with posting a trailer transcript here. Mods?

EternalNight: Now there's a thought! I know Gaul hit Spyro at least once. Maybe he was trying to hit him before then?

Sorry to double post, but I just re-watched the trailer. The theory I stated at DarkSpyro appears to right: that's not a bolt of energy, it's a fissure in the rock behind Spyro and Cynder.

p.s ill take everyones who didnt believe me's apology now.... i saw this trailer about a month or two ago, and a bunch of people didnt believe me, when i posted it here...i as taken as a liar and a fool, well i told you i wasnt lying and i hope everyone who saw this trailer, that laughed at me from their computer screens, feels very bad..... it wasnt just this site i posted it on, you cant guess how i was treated on other sites......

every word i said was true.

Heh, Dragonfire.. I don't think anyone was really paying attention, because at the time numerous people, including myself, said they've seen the trailer. :-P
Oh well, it's here now. No more having to go to the movies and stand in front of the tvs there to watch it. smile

Exactly where I saw it too! Haha. I kinda made people mad by just standing there staring at the tv..
Anyways, wow. You can really find lots of interesting parts of the clip by going frame by frame! Was well worth the time doing it. :-P

Hmm, that does sound fun... (wishes he had downloaded QuickTime version instead of Windows Media so that he could move frame-by-frame too sad )

Anyways, you're gonna have to wait at least a few days before I start the transcript, and I'll probably put it in a separate topic. I just started college, and it's not working out too well, so things are crazy right at the moment. Better to wait until things settle into a regular pace. smile

I went through the trailer frame by frame, too. Ah, that's the only good thing about Quicktime. big_smile Did anyone else notice the way the dragons walk? I absolutely love Spyro's running gait (whee, I'm a nerd! ).

As for Cynder and Spyro fighting each other, we don't actually know that's what's going on. It's possible, but no one will know until the game comes out. She could have been trying to push him out of the way or stop him from doing something crazy!stupid (as heroes are prone to do).

That was so dragon-flammin' awesome. I especially loved the end of the first trailer where spyro and cynder are both captured, they're circling each other ready to attack each other, spyro starts glowing a light purple probably meaning he was being possessed by the dark master, and cynder is glowing a light green color. Ohhhhh!!!!!! This game (especially the ending) is going to be SWEET because all the elemental and melee moves have been upgraded and to rescue spyro, you'll most likely be playing as cynder. I can't contain my excitement: w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t
