Haven't you learned that this is a reboot series!!, roots leading back into how Spyro came to be.

yeah moneybags i agree was an secential character in the original series, he made sure you were collecting enough gems so that you just dont sprint through the levels.
But as explained this is a reboot and IN TLOSANB he is practically a new dragon.
I'm gonna burrow this game from the vid store and check if the gameplay is good because i've heard of alot of missing things about it.

There is litterally nothing to collect, All you do is Mash circle and square, Kill enemies, Move onto the next area, There are like 5 proper whole levels, It's crap, Even though i know Eternal Night is going to be just like it i am still stupid enough to waste my money and will when it comes out.

Well actually he was exagerating a bit there. It DOES have items to collect, just not as much. They make you hit little crystals to get gems to upgrade your breaths with. (:)

meh, i liked gems to pay moneybags to continue, really is the main point of the game to kill enemies and get throgh levels and beat boss cause hey, that still doesn't convince me.
Even R & C had minigames

I was disappointed not to see all of the canonical (is that a word?) characters come back in the reboot. I would've liked to see them all young and such. I did find the gameplay extremely linear with not a lot of freetime/downtime. It all just rapid button thrashing: ATTACK! The game was short and I found it a big waste of money.

However, I did like the cutscenes.

Im not playing it, i beat it once that was enough for me.
the only reason i did beat it was to say that i had and really i didn't want to feel like i payed $30 for nothing.
Yeah, most people here are replaying it/buying it for the stry, couldn't there just be a place like in Spyro 2 where you could just watch the scenes.

After TEN I'm not having any second thoughts...or third or fourth thoughts (Lol, I'm halfway through a Dragonlance book, and that's the only quote I can remember) I'm pretty hooked on T.L.o.S at the moment...It influences nearly every piece of art I draw.

I Guesss, Maniaconwheels, Some People including me just do not like the reboot, the change, the fact that Old Spyro Was Forgotton and repaced with something that is an imposter. LetsTake Gex for an example, Gex went for 3 games and then stopped, i was happy about that, why? Because i didn't have a Imposter running around. Some People were alot more Loyal to the old Spyro and cared for the characters and like you, Maniaconwheels they developed our imagination. Having your Characters taken away from you is distressing, But even more distressin if they change Into Something weird or different.
o all those people who say "You cant handle change" Well no i cant, because TLOS is not change, but an intire imposter fest. And to all those people who say "Your lucky a company still developes Spyro" well i'm not, because is that Spyro? No, its an imposter!
OK, you've probablyheard that all before, and you know i am angry with TLOS, but please dont flame those who hate TLOS and have a real Grudge on it ecause they are just angry that their characters and story and gameplay have been taken and replaced, THose kind of things make you lash out.
I have no problem with anyone liking TLOS, you can if you want.
