Found some interesting info about TEN while browsing Amazon.com today. Here are the release dates for TEN according to Amazon.com:

Wii: October 23
PS2: October 9
DS: October 2
GBA: October 2

Prima's official guide for the game will be released on October 9. Keep in mind that this is the American Amazon site and that these dates may change, but it all looks pretty promising. smile

Hey, at least there's a two week wait between the PS2 and Wii incarnations. Why do we PAL players have to wait five weeks? A release date on the 7th December for the Wii version out here means I have to wait til bleedin' Christmas to play it >.>

I really hope those days are correct.
I remember looking on another site and it said the release date for the PS2 version was Nov 2. I would be very happy if it's released Oct 9. big_smile

Hmmmm, i have to see than to believe it, if i know nintendo(i do) they have never released the same game on two of there systems on different dates, doesnt make sense, i believe amazon is wrong...... again. they told me ''lair'' for ps3 was coming out on the 11th of sept. but i saw it at walmart on the 5th. amazon isnt always right. no offense meant.

None taken. smile These are probably just the dates Amazon.com itself will start carrying and shipping the games. Other stores might have them sooner or later.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but that would hurt the people who plan to get the Wii version. I'm among the crowd, especially since there's no real incentive for me to get a PS3 right about now as well as there being less and less support for the PS2 as the days draw on.

I'll be getting the PS2 version only because there isn't one for GameCube and I don't (yet) have a Wii. But, rest assured, when I do have that console, I will be getting a version for it. Personally, the Wii is my favorite system not because of the games but because of the innovation. It's the first real step towards truly integrated gaming. Also, you don't just have to sit there while you play, you get real exercise. And it's every-so-much fun to play with friends. */end unintentional Wii advertising* big_smile

What do you mean? PS2 is 7 years old and it is still one of the top selling consoles, PS2's record of most sold worldwide is in jeoperdy though. DS will eventually catch it.

Guess what guys! My mom called gamestop and asked for the release date of TEN for PS2 and they said the game would be at there store October, 3!!!!!! Thankfully, my when my mom comes home from work, she goes past gamestop!!!!!! *squeels with joy* (I actually squeeled and scared the crap out of my mom...)

Alright so according to some of the posts I've read, you guys aren't too fond of the Wii...
May I ask why though ?

Anyways, I'm a Zelda fan as well as a Spyro fan, and I'm really interested on how the controls will be for the Wii so I will be purchasing the Wii version

You're not alone. I'm aiming for the Wii version namely because the PS2, though a good console, has gone past its prime now due to dwindling support over the past 12 months, and with the PS3 not being worth the hassle any time soon that makes the PS2 version out of the question for me. But all might change depending on the general reception of the control schemes on both console systems.

The only reason I don't like it is cause I'm a loyal Sony fanboy. Sure, I have a Gameboy, but that technically isn't mine (It's my moms, though she lets me play it a lot). Heck, I even joined a Sony Playstation guild on Gaia Online! XD Also, I hear the Wii's break down too easily, so I figure PS3 will be more worth the monney. wink

I didn't, it was from Brain Software, I preordered it for $45.98. I also read all of the seller's feedbacks and each of them about preordering games said the game arrived on or around the time frame. I can't wait until October 2!
