Is it really worth buying the guide for this game?

I plan on getting it with the game (the guide comes out 12 days earlier than the game does where I live) to help locate the collectable locations.

Are the quills (or whatever they are) really that hard to locate in the game?

PS: A question I want to ask about the game

After when you beat the game (on PS2) do you get the option of playing as dark spyro next time you play the game?

i did beat the dragon challenges, but still cant figur out how to become dark spyro...probly because my controller sucks. L3 wont work for me especaly in Soul calibur 3...Bit it is ture once you beat the DC you have to push L3 right to be dark spyro?

Best way to beat challanges, upgrade earth anf fire all the way and use dragon time, simple as that!

Beat the campaign twice and you should have everything upgraded. The challenges are all a lot easier that way.

Big dady thats true, except for the dragon challenge #4. you have to beat it with out dragon time. I used electic breath on that one. it seemed to work beter then earth and fire. The dread wings are the hardest part of challenge #4.

So beating all the dragon challenges will or will not work? I would love to play as Dark Spyro! But how?

Re: Is it really worth buying the guide for this game?

toonartt, beating all dragon challenges does let you play as dark Spyro anytime in a completed save game by pressing L3
