Got Something in My Eye *sniffle* (SPOILERS)

I haven't re-played TEN in a while (my PS2 is currently unplugged and I'm still mad at how obnoxiously difficult the fighting is), but I recently re-watched the cutscenes from the game and, well, that ending made me a bit teary-eyed. I'm not normally one to cry over video games (scream, curse, run and hide behind Grandma's chair, yes), but the ending sort of got to me.

Did any of you guys get a little sniffly at the end of TEN? And the ending song (which I am growing more and more fond of) didn't help.

Aaaaah! Sierra/Krome/Vivendi, why you do this to me?! *wibbles; sniffles*

Don't mind me. I've just got something in my eye, that's all.

It was the bit with Cynder talking to Spyro that got to me. The poor fellow looked so defeated. And the way Cynder looked when they were all huddling together, just before Spyro let loose with the elements.

I too got little teary-eyed aswell. I urged myself to not cry but, since it was a song that came from the heart, it got to me. big_smile

Heh, I wasn't sure whether to be happy about beating the game or sad b/c of the ending. I would say I was more sad.
Didn't hit the point of getting teary-eyed, but I did get very sad. The ending was just so deep really.. Especially that song. If you haven't actually listened through the lyrics yet, I strongly recommend to do so.

The ending got to me too. It was such a perfect song for that perfect moment, and it left me with wonders too... still thinking about how mch time they might have spent in that crystal.

... I feel so out of place.
I did not cry at the ending, nor at the song [see proof that I'm a heartless SOB that is only sucking air to make all your lives miserable] I was mre pleased I finally killed that stupid monkey [IHATEHIMIHATEHIMIHATEHIMIHATEHIM!] and anooyed that Iwould be left out in the cold AGAIN by the ending, and the song only made my really anoied that the game was truely over

sadly, watching the ending and song on youtube wrecked it for me, i did feel some emotion but i didn't cry.

I was to busy thinking what will happen next time to feel much of anything. (as it always is for 10 minutes after consentrating hard on a game, like when I got to level 12 in Tetris...)

The closing song was a love song, and I imagined Cynder singimg it to Spyro.. that's how I picture it, you may picture something different. The ending was sad, but I also took hope from it. Spyro is not alone, he has his friends by his side, and they will have allies. I imagine he's going to have to re-learn his powers in the final game, perhaps they could go beyond Fire Earth Electricity andd Ice, perhaps you could swuitch control to Cynder when you select 'Shadow Fire" I got that off of the Webdy's card, that I saw in the Webndy's thread.

It's funny, but "This Broken Soul" wasn't the music that got to me. This should tell you something about my musical inclination. The thing that really made me tear up the most was the bit of instrumental score that played while Malefor was crumbling. I almost lost it right there. The music just hit me right where it counts.

"This Broken Soul" is lovely and I shall have to find a good quality version of it sometime so I can really hear the lyrics (reading them doesn't really work for me and the YouTube one is really quiet).

And I agree about that final scene after the credits being very hopeful.

This was my emotional rollercoaster:
1. Yay, i kicked that son of a *beep*s *beep*
2. Wait, whats going no
3. (as they start freezing) omg, no way
4. Gosh darn stupid cliffhanger story line (Kicked my tv like twice)
5. Wow, that sucks for spyro and Cynder
6. *Silence*
7. Where's the next game?
8. This is really sad...

ok? Well ummm, yeah. I Think only people who care greatly for TLOS will cry... people like me who havn't egged on for it wont really care too much for the characters.

LOL!!! shade, I thought that they had died or something, I cried (the song didn't help much) but then saw the Epilouge, and when I saw Hunter, I was like "OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!! IT'S HUNTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

that has always botherd me, I play a gem to see the end, but if it comes too soon, then I get nothing out of it as I wasnt given a resion to bond with the charters, but the longer it takes, the more agatated I become that I cant watch the ending!
