My opinion on the newer looking Spyro

He has changed way too much...

His mouth reminds me of Lugia

The scales on his head have changed...there not the same as I remember...:(

His wings are bigger too...

I'm disappointed...

Actually, Spyro on the Cover (that one) looks pretty different to the one in the actual game.

i actually thought that he would be older judging by the cover but his in game model was exaculy the same as ANB.

You people have to stop living in the past....

Why can't you expect change? The new Spyro looks great, even better than the original. In everything, the newer version ALWAYS is better than the original.

I vote that people that do covers never play/read/watch/listen to whatever it is a cover for, at least as of the time they do it. In game he looks better. And the wings are still to small on the cover to allow flight or gliding.

Well, my sister doesn't. The way everything moved in the original Spyro games, and his look, made her nauseous just looking at the game.

New Spyro is an alligator puppy. I can't not love that. big_smile Also, if you dislike new Spyro so much...why is he in your avatar? Also, also, if you are missing the old Spyro, just pop the old games in your system and re-live the memories.

I've been with the series since the first game was released (though I managed to not play any of the titles between the Insomniac three and the LoS series big_smile ). I just don't get why there is this huge problem. I don't want the old games back, that would be boring. I like the new games; they're not the same, and that's okay. And, for the record, I like both series equally, but for very different reasons.

Im not going to get into this debate again.
Yeah, he does like an alligator, hahahahaha and i love aligators (crocodiles pwn alligators though).
But he doesn't look much like an aligator in the in-game model though
I would rather if he kept his old look.

*His new look was not a "good experience for me", like i didn't say "OMG they changed him YAYYYYYY i love it when things are New and modified!"
Some people just prefer the new spyro's look because they prefer the games.
And to all these people who say "Spyros changed now for no particular reason, if you dont want him to change, go play the old games and shut up" well, Why didn't they just keep his old look and Change the crappy parts? Dont just change his look for the sake of it.
His new look suits his personality, So? Why did we need to change his personality, wasn't it enough "goody goody" for Krome (aka: THe idiots)

It took a lot of getting used to, Spyro's new look, but I think it suits his new personality, so I'm okay with it.

I used to think crocodiles > alligators, but we have little alligators at my work and I love them. They're so stinking cute and soft. ^_^

Yeah this look is new and kool. but i think the should have made the wings look stronger. especially for cynder and terrador. :-|

Yeah it would be nice if they had a little more muzzle on the shoulderblades and chest to make their wings and flight look more beliveble. But apart from that, I think they look just fine smile

Personally, I love the scrawny, too-small wings. They're a unique design and I am so tired of realistic dragons (they've been done to death in recent years). It's nice to see them as creatures of magic again.

Well, anyways. I likw new Spyro. The first picture i saw of him creeped me out a little:

no, hes got a totally new look.
New spyro's personality is too goody goody, i liked him when he was cocky.
hes also way too serious.
OLd spyro was pretty serious but he tried to make a joke out of everything.
