Spyro Character Battle

I already made a topic to get ideas for characters for an imaginary game called ' Super Smash Spyro' with those character ideas, it's time for a character battle. This will be done by a single elimination voting process. I will state a match-up, and then it must be voted on who stays and who goes between these two characters.

I have 30 characters already matched up on a bracket. The combinations are tough, with two similar characters paired up to make the decision harder. In the end only one character will be number one of all these 30.

This character battle is only for the 'good' characters, I will be doing a villain/bad guy character battle later.

The first two characters going head to head are Cynder and Spyro. You can only choose one of them. I told you it'd be hard.

Spyro the Dragon - With his familiar purple body, gold horns and small stature, the world-famous dragon Spyro is known for his kind yet cocky attitude, powerful breath attacks and saving the world every time it needs saving. This dragon may look cute but you don't want to get on his bad side.

Cynder the Dragon - A young, independent dragoness, Cynder was abducted at birth by Gaul the Ape King to be enslaved by the Dark Master. With her mind poisoned and a spell put on her that made her appear far older than she was, she became a beast and a terror of the skies. However, she was saved by Spyro and has since been slowly recovering from her years under the Dark Master's command. With the burden of what she was forced to be pressing on her mind, she remains somewhat stand-offish but nevertheless has captured the heart of Spyro.

This begins the first round of voting. One stays, one goes. I now turn it over to you to vote. Voting processes end after 72 hours. Thus, Wednesday night at 1:30 p.m. central time, whoever has the most votes in match-up one will be allowed to continue in the battle. On Tuesday, the next pair to be voted on will be announced by me.

I go with Cynder. Now here's my unneeded long post explaining why.

Spyro- The great Spyro, prophesied to save them all. He made many feats saving countless lives in his gallant quest. He's so perfect, lost of powers, saved the Atlowa and Manweresmalls. He destroyed Gaul and basically gave Cynder a reason to live. He must be the best character ever! Blah... He's TOO perfect. Everyone chooses him, but he's a flat character. No depth.

Cynder- Mm, now here's some character. She's unsure of herself, of her own abilities, and guilty about her past. She obviously cares deeply for Spyro, sometimes showing it in different ways. At the end of The Eternal Night she was angry at him because she cared. At the beginning of The Eternal Night she was sad and confused, leaving to find her own path and afraid that she would hurt Spyro. She's a greatly misunderstood character and left in some mystery. You never know what her next move might be, she could be heroic or leave completely. She's a very well developed character who keeps changing slightly. She isn't perfect; she was evil, her emotions are chaotic, and at the end of The Eternal Night we saw a flash of a fierce temper. She also can shift moods almost instantly, Spyro rarely changes moods and is almost constantly heroic.

Yeah, not needed, but my true feelings. Cynder all the way ^^

Spyro, definitely. Not to say I hate Cynder, I just haven't had the chance to get to know her *is rubbish at the LoS games*

But, that aside, I believe I'd prefer him, anyway. Not only is he is first main protagonist of a franchise I have come to LIKE due to his nice personality (please, don't mention Sonic or Crash), he's a dragon (Tweek) that has links to many other mythical and enchanted creatures (Every other Spyro character I like. Not saying Tweek is from Spyro, mind). I can hate the aforementioned, but I just can't hate him.
