Ripto Returns?

Ripto was first defeated in Spyro 2 and suck into a pool of lava.

The odds of him coming back were slim to none, But Universal probably didn't even play Spyro 2!!!

Ripto has come back 4 times already...no one can come back to life if they sink in a pool of lava...:

Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly
Spyro: Season of Flame
Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs
Spyro: Orange

: What I don't get is exactly why he came back to life...Universal should die mad ...

Its mess up, i agree. I reackon if only Ripto comes back to life for only one game Enter the Dragonfly, only that game.

I wonder why Team Rocket from Pokemon aren't dead yet from being blown up by a 100m blast radius over and over again. Sonic should've killed Dr. Robotnick hundreds of times already. And Bowser's been sunken in lava on numerous occasions.

Bad guys almost always live on forever if you think about it, hehe.

the epilouges in spyro 2 & 3 had showed him alive

also the sorceress came back to life after she fell in lava so why cant ripto?

the only explaination i have from beating the sorceress in spyo 3
was he basicly crawled back up like her 0_o

ripto comes back because he and everything spyroish doesnt excsest(only on the game)

either his species is immune to laza or he used a spell. He looked pretty content whe he fell into that lava

Game developers just like to use their "classic" villains in sequel games. Often, they either don't want to take the time to come up with a new villain, don't want to disappoint fans if the new villain isn't what they expected, or want to use the "he's back" technique as a hook. I personally find it really annoying (With the exception of Bowser; for some reason he seems like he'd be able to survive in lava to me).

Yes your right Pete The Iguana, but we are just trying to find a way that he COULD of survived.

Oh. In that case, I s'pose since he's a dinosaur he has a tough, scaly hide. Couple that with the fact that he's a sorcerer and he's probably pretty durable (I mean, how many hits does he take from Spyro without dying before he creates Robo-Gulp?).

well if you have already look at the epilogue for the 3rd game year of the dragon,
it says, Gnasty and Ripto discuss the "Spyro Problem"
Guess both of them lived....

Cortex from the Crash Bandicoot series was another bad guy that should have died heaps of times before but he keeps coming back.

Crash 2: Escaped/ Ran away
CRash 3: Turned into Baby
CTR: Nothing happened
Crash Bash: Last in timeline, still didn't die anyway

Well, if Sonic can die then come back as happy as a little girl, I don't see any reason that Ripto can't.

In CNK if you beat the entire game with cortex's team he tries to take the sceptre from velo, break it and ends up being warped to krunks "terra" then tiny fixes the sceptre and holds it up and all the monkey dude (they look like krunk) bow donw to him. uh mabye you should see the youtube video of it my description isnt to good XD

Crash entranced he wasnt even in the game
i havent played the big adventure or whatever it was called

CTTR: He tries to kill crash and the bandicoots at the end but crash throws a chicken into the moter of his air ship or whatever and it shorted out but he ddint die

COTT: cortex is freed from nina and they both escape.

Ripto came back 2 many times, I have to agree even tho im a huge fan an i love Ripto.
He's not as good and evil in all the other games.
Season of flame is sorta boring, you dont even fight Crush or Gulp (love them 2) in dragonfly, and i havnt played the other games.
Did Gnasty Gnorc die in the first game? sorry just now gettin the game aand havnt played it since i was like 5. But Gnorcs back in a Hero's Tail.

good point. I forgot about all of that. But with ripto the never gave him a real reason for coming back they just made him keep coming back.
