Uh, at first I hated Billy West, now I think his voice is OK, but I still like David Spade better. A lot better

Dang it, why does everyone like David Spade so much as Sparx? D: That was some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard.

I cast my vote for Billy West (apparently, he needs it). I hated Sparx in ANB SO much because of his voice. In TEN, he really started to grow on me. He was a total jerk but he was honest about being a jerk and I think West really pulled that characteristic off well.

In ANB, I only laughed once at one of Sparx's lines that was intended to be funny.

With TEN, I still laugh at most of Sparx's lines as performed by Billy West. Heck, I even quote them to friends. big_smile

That's all I know, but David Spade is great comic relief for such a serious game. Billy West makes it too serious. :-|

Billy West had nothing to do with "The Lion King". You're thinking of Max Castella. Billy West is currently most famous for being the voice of Fry, the Professor, and Zap Brannigan in "Futurama". Other notable West roles include: almost all the voices in "Ren and Stimpy" (including both Ren and Stimpy), and the Honey Nut Cheerios bee. He's a huge name in the voice acting community and one of the more famous and well-known voice actors.

David Spade is a comedian who's most notable roles were the voice of Kuzco in "The Emperor's New Groove" and the arrogant secretary guy from the sitcom "Just Shoot Me". He's been a couple of other films, but none seem to have really taken off.

You guys want to know something about Billy West? He does the voice of Phillip J. Fry in Futurama, along with Farnsworth and a lot of other people(ignore my babbling). But you all probably knew that. And David Spade is Emperor Kuzco! Go David and Billy!

David Spade is much better than Billy West, in my opinion. But, I'm not saying Billy West is bad! I respect that he played the new Sparx, but I just happen to like David Spade more.
=3 I tthink it's because I'm used to his voice.

I loved them both, really. For different reasons.

I thought David Spade's voice was just PERFECT for Sparx, so awesome.

I didn't think Billy West suited Sparx as much but he did the voice acting brilliantly and some of his line were just a total WIN. The way he did the sarcasm was perfect. XD
