Beating Gaul...
Whenever I fight Gaul, I lose all my breath energy. Is this meant to happen?

Re: Beating Gaul...
Yup, 'cause in the cutscene beforehand he drains you of your magic. Just fight him as normal with combos and headbutts till you reach the second half.

Re: Beating Gaul...
I would advise studying his movements. He tends to start lunging at you if your too far away. Attack him using the Earth element since it deals a great amount of damage. During the second half, keep your distance. If you get caught in the whirlwind he stirs up, you'll only be tossed up high and start descending slowly. (Spyro seems to enjoy being tossed like this) Gaul will lead the beams he shoots ahead of you so you need to predict when he will start the next one. Using "Dragon Time" will help when you are in a tight spot. Use it sparingly.
I don't care how it looks but how it functions
