Does this game trigger memories?
Does this game, Spyro 2, trigger memories for you? It does for me. I can remember way back from when I was around 7/8, and I was really ill one morning and me and my Dad walked into town. On the way back, I rented Spyro 2 from somewhere like Blockbuster, some kinda rental shop along those lines. Anyway, I can vividly remember getting home, still feeling really sick, bad stomach pains and what have you. And, I played this game, and I was on ' Skelos Badlands ' (I used to rent this game out every week, as my sister had the original and she had given it to our cousin, or lost it, cant remember) because I had my PS1 memory card and I used to always rent Spyro 2 out. And then I didnt feel sick at all! Spyro is a saviour! So yeah, this game really triggers memories for me now. Ever since completing the Glimmer level, to defeating Ripto and doing good for Avalar! Has this game done the same to you guys?

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
Ahh, when I played Spyro when I was 6 it gave me a great time. They're all but heartwarming memories now. . . I don't like growing up too fast. :-[

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
I remember when I was younger, had not heard about Spyro, and I and my brother visited some friends with Spyro Gateway to Glimmer. The levels I remember from that first meeting with Spyro, is Zephyr and Summer Forest. In Zephyr they ran through the hollows and charged the elephant-like creatures(I can't remember what they actually was called) and I think(maybe) something with that Juliet Bird from Breeze Harbor. They told us that the evil looking face on the banners on the Summer Forest Castle, was Ripto, the bad guy in the game. The game was incredible
Aah... that was a great time (dream away)

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
All the original Spyro games bring back memories for me. Especially this one! Just seeing some memorable levels, the first level (Glimmer) and all that brings back so many good memories, just like the other games!

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
I love this game!!!!
Every time I see those new Spyro's, I remember the old kind.
I love the old kind
and it makes me wonder "What have they done to you, Spyro?"
It just makes me sad because this has been my favorite game since I was like 5.

for me the Spyro game that brings back the most memories is YOTD.The levels on that game that bring back the most memories are all the homeworlds, Enchanted Towers and Lost Fleet.

They killed him more likely. I think he just looks plain stupid in all the new ones. I don't like him in ETD, he looks high in AHT, and the LoS (both) He just looks stupid. But thats my opinion. Oh and hey thanks for backing me up. lol ^^

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
It does...but not as much as the first game does for me. But still, a great game. Good memories of me and my friend coming to school telling each other what we had discovered in the game.

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
Think I was around 10 or 11 when I first played a Spyro game, lol some time ago now! I remember my friend and I used to talk for hours how we could complete the tasks and beat the bosses. So it's been 8 years since I have played a Spyro game!!! But Spyro 2 is on it's way thanks to ebay and I should be playing it soon!

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
The game that brung me back memories is YOTD too, I remember when I was on sunny villa and I saw a huge chicken beside the portal but not where the portal was, then I remember when the seal guy in front of the portal I used to call him Chomper, the name from land before time, and I also remember when I hear moneybags scream. And RadSpyro, Juliet is from Zephyer not Breeze harbor.

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
Heck yeah it does.
My brother and I rented Spyro 2 back when we first got our Playstation from our uncle. I remember being scared of the levels Hurricos and Sunny Beach, so I had my dad do them for me. XD When we had to return the game, my dad told me to just lose all my lives. I did, but... then I came back with five more.

Re: Does this game trigger memories?
This is probably the game that brings back the most memories. Year of the Dragon is my favourite Spyro game but this one seems to bring back more memories.
