plus, Glimmer is only one small part of the game, while the game is FULL of Ripto's Rage! big_smile

yeah i guess it could have been something a bit more relevant to the whole game and not just glimmer. but gateway to avalar doesnt seem that good so i cant think of anything else right now.

Whats with "Spyro x Sparx tondemo tours".? ItÂ´s not so popular but it still sounds good!

I think I decide me for GtG, Riptos Rage is also Ok, but it sounds more like a sequel where you meet Ripto again.

just for the record Gateway to Glimmer is a way better name! Ripto has 2 rages. GTG and ETD. y didn't they both name em RR and RR2? no because theres 2 it couldn't have riptos rage and that's my reason!

I like Ripto's Rage, although Gateway to Glimmer is somewhat nicer sounding for a title in some ways, Glimmer is only the first level of the game, and a small portion of it only. Even if Spyro was brought into the world of Avalar (Or something like that.) through a portal in that area. I am going to vote Ripto's Rage, just because it is the title that I grew up with, and that version of the game that I have (NTSC).

Well maybe dark isn't the right word but the alliteration of the 'R's anf 'Rage' gives it more impact, which is why I prefer it ove Gateway to Glimmer.

Ripto's Rage, it just makes me wonder why the Second game had two different names. The portal DID lead to Glimmer, but technically, the game took place in Avalar... right?

I prefer Ripto's Rage because that's what the whole game is about. The title gateway to glimmer is pretty, but sounds like it would apper to be a girlier game the Spyro the dragon!

I actually own a copy of each. I prefer the original name Ripto's Rage but I always refer to it as Gateway to Glimmer.
