The idea of every dragon having a dragonfly,
it would be cool (I think) if while playing the games sparx got hungry & u HAVE 2 feed him (remember, a dragonfly is for life, not just for Christmas)
HOWEVER.
I do agree that this WOULD get tiresome & annoying.
I mean, ever play NINTENDOGS?!?

Well a good thing in this game was that you had to collect dragonflies, i cant think of anything to collect, orbs, dragons, eggs and dragonflies have been taken
Oh, and why in AHT do those theives steel the ggs, are they trying to made a giant omelate or something

It was pretty annoying to have to catch them, but I do think that some of the storyline they had down was ok. I mean, I think it was a logical progression from what was going on in Year of the Dragon. Ok, so we have a whole bunch of baby dragons, now what? Give them dragonflies, just like Spyro has! And they do show some of the younger dragons hanging out in the Dragonfly Dojo. It's just...pretty much everything else about the game (plot-wise, if not otherwise) sucked.

But, I don't really understand why future Spyro games just didn't bother to deal with the story so far, throwing it away in favor of something else. (Legend of Spyro notwithstanding, as we already knew that was going to be a reboot)

There are 100 Dragonflies in the game right? But in Year of the Dragon there are 150 Baby Dragons. 1 Dragonfly is given to each Baby Dragon when there are only a 100 Dragonflies. So only 100 Dragons get Dragonflies while the rest don't. How weird to have 100 Dragonfiles when there are 150 Baby Dragons.

Well, 100 does seem like a nice round number.....but you're right, some of those poor baby dragons won't get a dragonfly of their own (and there are 150 eggs, but 151 baby dragons)

By the way, there are 90 dragonflies, not 100 so 60 baby dragons wont have any.

I only llike thing i like is the music and the speedways there relaxing but stupid because i hit to kill the enimens.

I hate the glitches once it froze. another time it completely came off.

This idea would reck TLOSANB's idea because In TLOSANB spyro doesn't get his own dragonfly, he meets up with one, but the dragon could've taken up the idea from spyro of getting dragonflies

That doesn't make too much sense when tieing together with Spyro 1-3. Spyro doesn't really notice Sparx until the Artisans Dragon near the Waterfall points Sparx out to Spyro.

Freed Dragon: "Do you know what that Dragonfly following you is doing?"
Spyro: Uhhh...?
Freed Dragon: "His name is Sparx, and he's helping and protecting you! Keep an eye on him and see what I mean!"

If the LOS games really are prequels to the first three, then Spyro should really be used to Sparx following him by the time the Spyro 1 story takes place! tongue

There is a possibility that Ripto failed to capture all of the 151 dragonflies.

-The sorceress had her mission all planned out. She attacked when the dragon were asleep, thus maximising her window of opportunity.
-Ripto attacked during the actual festival, when they were all awake. It's possible that the Dragons had enough time to protect some of the dragonflies.

well i recon that ETD took place in the YOTD after spyro 3: YOTD, then in that YOTD there were only 90 dragons born.
And we all know that ripto stuffed up his spell, maybe he only mucked up 90/150 dragonflies

I think there should be another Spyro game like AHT, minus the lame attempt to sound like the original Spyro. Sparx actually sounded good in AHT though. A lot better than...

Also, I liked the way all the levels were connected to the worlds. It reminded me of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. big_smile

i didn't like that idea myself, it just complicated it up for me, owell.
i dont know how sparx sounded in ETD.
AHT had also alot of things that didn't appeal to me

Spyro 2 was great for Homeworlds because they packed so many levels into them and the Homeworlds, themselves, were reasonably big too. We need another game like that but with a minimum of 5 worlds rather than 3 wink
