Invincible (insert dragon you're not using)?
I just thought about this, but maybe the other dragon you're not playing as(when you're not on co-op)is invincible, and well, doesn't do anything.
I was watching the game play videos over again and I realized something; the not-being-used dragon either rarely attacked or didn't attack at all. Also it didn't show a health bar for the dragon that isn't in use.
It's--obviously--just a theory but you never know. I might be a bit miffed if the other dragon is just a dead weight.

I think computer will not be intelligent too, but I'm happy that his health bar isn't show. Why? Because if he has it, you must care about him all the time...

Re: Invincible (insert dragon you're not using)?
It's probably just the SSBB Pokemon Trainer method and both dragons share the health bar. So when you switch, you'd have the same health as when you were using the other dragon.

It depends I think when you switch in the other dragon will have full health but that's just what I think.

Well, it'd be too easy if the other dragon did all the attacking. I guess they're still trying to find a balance there.
Oh great, my lighthouse is on fire again, be right back...

It could work like the Ninja Gaiden 2 or Megaman X8. As you take damage, a portion of your health gauge will either remain in red, or will slowly become filled with more red. When you switch out, the health gauge will refill to the end of the red zone. Healing items will only heal the active fighter, but your partner will be able to regenerate more health.

Re: Invincible (insert dragon you're not using)?
As regards the no health bar for the other character part, from the video on GameSpot it just looks like the HUD disappears if the character hasn't used a breath or been injured for a while (it can disappear for either character whether they're being played or not).

I actually would prefer it if the two dragons still attack and take damage, but will use AI control. (better then having to fight solo most of the time though)

Ah I would get used to it no matter how it goes.
