Evaluation on the gameplay so far...

*This only remarks on te opinion of the gameplay, nothing more*

From the looks of things, it will be less linear than it was in TEN and ANB, but the linear side of the combat system still exists... I give you that. Hopefully, there will be some added enemy-elements to incorporate something that's worth playing through the combat system... Something worthwhile like having difficulties or something... if they can make the combat system as close as it is to Devil May Cry's, I'd be a happy Game Conqueror.

The gameplay demos and trailers doesn't show too much of the real powers, unless it happens to be THAT limited, honestly... I expect a lot from the storyline, I give you that, but the purpose of this thread is to emphasize on the gameplay, mainly the combat system -- and I think I'm going to expect a bit low for it...

I, in no way, criticize DotD. I just state my opinion on what I've heard so far. Of course, this opinoin can't be proven or rejected unless the game comes out.

Or... maybe the storyline will be too awesome in such a way that I don't mind the gameplay at all? Either way, this Game Conqueror wants to see an evolution in the combat system.

Re: Evaluation on the gameplay so far...

The combat system remindes me of Spider-Man 3 and the soon to be released Spider-Man Web of Shadows where you have to press a certain button at times in a closeup fight.
