Hunter glitch

There's a glitch in the first level that you play as Hunter.  I completed the level, then for some random reason that I forget, I wanted to go back to the start of the level, where Spyro is.  Well, I was running, and then when I'd almost got to the beginning of the level, I jumped down off a ledge, expecting to land on the GROUND.  Instead I suddenly found myself falling endlessly through blue sky.  Seeing if I could get out of it, I swung the left analog stick over to the right, and the sky suddenly went to night.  Swinging the stick back to the left, it turned to blue sky again.  I amused myself by making it go day and night for about five minutes, then I got bored and reset my console.  Has anyone else had this problem?

P.S: I have a PS2, if that affects things.

Actually, that happened to me  when i messed up on the Swim-in-air glitch at dragonfly falls XD It was amusing to watch my breaths do wacky things XD.
