how do I awaken the 4 dragons?

Okay, so I need to waken the 4 dragons. How do I do that.

to unlock them, you have to fly to certain areas of the ruins and get a crystal from some shrines. hope this helps in any way!! smile

Okay First, you go left, or right, choose anyway, fly till you see some landing area and stuff, get some adamantium ore.. blah blah balh.
beat a boss, get a red glowing crystal, and insert it back in the dragon things.
if u go back to the place u beat the boss, there is an, Elite, boss waiting for u.

There should be a current of air that'll bring you back to the dragon statues.

Ok me and my twin got 3 of the statues already but we can't figure out how to get the last key for the 4th one...anyone had any trouble with it too? We're stuck. =__=

I have the same problem for the last one, There is a switch that i can activate with the electric breath. But what now? o_O

you need too press the lever behind the gate using Cynders sadow ablity it will drop down then cling on it with her and glide down with spyro and use the electic breath to open the way then fly accross fast too unlock the gate too the red jewel

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the second crystal key, let alone the last two! I got the first one and rode the current back to the gate. So far, I've only got one dragon awakened. I figure the big windmill looking thing with the vines for climbing on it is something I need to do a swing with? I'm not sure. Please help! Thanks!

I'm stuck there too. try going back to the statues. there go directly to the right and you'll find wind current that will take you to another level on the other side. it'snot very hard to get. the other 2. idk yet

Hmmm... Lot of questions...I guess I'll just explain as much as I can...

First area on the left- After revealing the wheel with the vines in the center, grab onto the vines with Cynder, and move so you're in the exact center. Then, switch to Spyro and starting swinging (hold x for PS2 version), you'll notice Spyro is swinging around the outside edge of the circle, passing the red things. Use fire breath as you pass by the red things to light them.

Whenever you retrieve a crytal, the statue that was holding it creates an air column leading back to the start of the level. The two crystals on the bottom floor create air columns leading to the upper levels when placed in the statues by the door. Thus, to reach the second (higher) area on the left, you need the first crystal from the lower area on the left.

Second area on the left- Use Cynder's cloak of shadows to go under a gap in the bottom of a gate to pull a lever. The lever lowers a block with a key shaped end. Near the block there's a panel on the wall like the one in the catacombs, use Spyro's electricity breath on it until the gauge in the middle is full. Then, climb up the vines and grab onto the bottom of the key-block, switch dragons, and start flying it to the left. Move quickly, or the electricity in the gauge runs out and blocks will block the path of the key-block.

Sounds like no one has problems with the areas on the right, correct me if I'm mistaken.

the people said that they go like left and right to underground places and get the crystals, use the wind tube to get back and put them on the awacken dragons.......they are right wink

I've already completed the game, so I'll let you in on a secret... you know in some parts of the game you have to fight giant green troll thingies? Well, there is an Elite Enemy in the 4 Dragon Statues Level and it is one of those green trolls wearing a blue magic mask. I managed to defeat it, thanks to the fact that there were red and green gem clusters in the area.
