The news we have now about the legend is about all we're going to get for a while, so what do ya'll think? Did some of the news disappoint you or come across as sort of stupid? What news did you like? Will this be a good game? WHY SO MANY QUESTIONS?

I have a feeling this game is going to be good, even if the storyline isn't the best. I don't really like the idea of Spyro being raised by dragonflies, but I do like that there (might) be another dragon boss!

i feel that this will be the best coming out of VU's hands, because you can tell they are putting actual work and thought into this one. The other two (console) they were not careful to sit down and make correctly. The dragonfly thing is teh weirdness, but i'll get used to it.

I think it will be a good game. So far I think the developers now are going to keep Spryo for at least another game, if this one is succesful. I think they got the right idea.

I thought vivendi was the one who published ETD with universal developing...i dunno! but the games have improved gradually from ETD, though i still feel a bit irked by the details in some of them.

The videos were good, but the story could still be boring or the game might end up being as slow as the videos. Or maybe they just showed the most exciting parts on the videos, or...

Å½ Â· Most of the time what I look at in the game is it's gameplay. If it's some sort of action game like Devil May Cry then it will rock IMO. But sometimes I also look into the storyline. For instance, I hated FFX-2 but I liked FFX, all because the storyline of FFX-2 messed it up. Yeah, the story is the 2nd part in my consideration, wherein the first is the gameplay. Once I get a good chance at getting this game and actually playing it (don't forget about conquering it!), I'll give my comments.

What is my reaction? Hmmm.... I am shocked... furious and rather disappointed with the direction this game is taking. The game maybe cool but it isn't OUR Spyro anymore. This Spyro is an alternate universe take on him hence the redesign.

I guess Universal figured that since they mucked up the original Spyro so badly they just should start over and toss every... single... thing out. Goodbye Hunter.... So long Bianca... Was nice knowning you Elora. All of our original beloved cast of characters are gone.... FOREVER! In their place is WHAT EXACTLY! A NEW BEGINNING.... I am sorry but they should have put all this effort into trying to fix the original story. There was so much potential left to the original Spyro's story and yet they never fully used any of it. They never developed the characters properly. The story ran in place and never went anywhere. Why couldn't they just make multiple game storyline plot in the original series that would have done the same thing as this so called NEW BEGINNING! It would have been much more interesting to see origin story with the current Spyro if the story was done properly.

But noooo they go and pull something like this. I will buy this game because I am a fan but I will not like it. This isn't what I would have done if I had been in charge of the Spyro story. Many people have said that the new game is cool... Maybe it is but is that all that matters? Is it worth sacrificing all that has come before just to be COOL?! Spyro has never been given the proper respect that he deserves and with this reboot it seems that Universal has finally given up on the little guy. They had such a rich story in their hands and all they had to do was develop it properly. That's all! Was it that hard for them? Hmmm... obviously it was.

Nice knowing you Spyro. Oh, I for the fans of my story I will continue writing my Spyro: Dragon of Destiny series and working on what will probably be the only Spyro animated project for a long time. I have a feeling that Universal has already made up their minds in regards to my animated proposal. I really don't care because at the moment I am so disgusted with them that it really doesn't matter. I will finish my animated Spyro project and demonstrate to them just how stupid their decision was to erase everything for a reboot that they will probably find some way to screw up as well.

Sorry, everyone if I sound harsh but I like this character and it breaks my heart to see Universal do this to him. Anyway, I will continue working on my projects because I have put a lot of time and effort into them. As for a A NEW BEGINNING... I'll just modify what I see in it to work in the normal universe. I have some ideas that will take Spyro and his friends in directions that allows them to grow and develop properly. As for Cinder... he he he... she will appear in Dragon of Destiny and there will be a major twist.

Anyway, I have said my piece. If anyone disagrees with me then go right ahead say you do.

I beilive that they shouldent have compleatly changed everything. as said before, it is the develper's game, not the fan's game.

But the only reason the developers are creating this game is for the fans to buy it; wouldn't it make sense to do something they would want?

I don't think you're being too harsh, jamieque. I feel exactly the same way. Redisigning the whole series to be like a stretched out Shadow Legacy will no doubt get spyro more fans, but they will all be 8-and-under boys who, when picking out a game, look at how "cool" the attacks are or if you can "unlock secret characters."

Yeah it might get more fans, but what about the people who have been following the series ever since they it came out. I also agree with jamieque because Spyro used to be for anyone who wanted to play. My dad used to play it.

That's what I mean. That person in the interview said that people who had been following the series since the first game will still enjoy it, but will they really? I doubt it.
