Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

They're saying that's the finale for the TLOS series ... but who knows there might be a spinoff series, in what you're thinking, the next "age", the next generation of dragons.

Terrador the new leader, with Volteer his 2IC (second in charge), Cyril of course being his usual self with Spyro & Cynder elevated to Guardian status... And of course Spyro stepping into Ignitus' role of the master of the fire element

(So instead of being 4 Guardians ... there's a 5th one now: Cynder - Master of the Dark Elements) but she's on the good side so to speak.

Who honestly sincerely knows where this one could head ... at least I've possibly got something going there ... let's see if they take hold of it and run with it smile

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

with the way DoTD ended... they've left much open for another game to carry on! Iggy still needs to find Spyro! It may not be The Legend of spyro but EtD followed on from YoTD and that wasn't from insomniac (for heavens sake don't the creators of EtD make another!!)

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

Chris verified that they will continue to work with the storyline and characters from the LoS series....so they will not be falling off after this entry in the series....but it will be very interesting to see just what they do next.

very interesting. There's a rumor going around that the next game will follow Spyro's lineage (meaning kids basically) Though I still think it's way to early for anything being said. Because Europe doesn't even have DotD yet! Besides, I remember in an official interview by someone from Sierra that Spyro's father would be revealed in DotD, but looks like that didn't happen. So I'm sure this lineage theory is just the producers tossing ideas around.

But I like the idea of SxC becoming guardians. It'd be funny seeing them all serious and such and still have Sparx trying to crack jokes. XD

I havn't heard this rumor yet....so I don't believe it....the only way I found out about the continuing of the series was by Chris Wilson's posts on the Sierra forums...and I also have not seen the thing that involves revealing his father....I really think that's something that will never be revealed.

As for the lineage thing...I'm not sure....I don't think it would be much fun to have a Spyro game where you couldn't play Spyro himself...

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

Ok completely off of what i saw... Hunter and every one were on floating islands looking at the sky and seeing something in the sky like a new world and when the last scean with Spyro and Cynder flying together made me think... Spyro never saved the world completely... He saved them, but failed at keeping the world together... BUT! Spyro built a new world and that is what they saw in the sky... the new world still forming.... which also is why Ignitus couldnt find Spyro in any of the books.

On how they left it off there should be another game based on getting back...

Also... you see Malefor fall...But didnt reasure you he completely died.... Based off what i just said there ought to be a new game.... but a different series...

which is what they developers have confirmed. LoS is done, but they'll be making a new Spyro game following a different plot.

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

If its going to folow a different plot then it has to continue off of  DotD because on how they left it, to many things left with out explanation, Like how will Cynder and Spyro get back? Are they Sure Malefor is dead (We saw him fall but never die in lava or anything)? What will happen to Hunter and every one else in that cave at the ending when the earth is kinda seperated? Does Spyro know that every one else he loves like a family is floating off into the endless space on the shattered remains of the earth?

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

The earth isn't floating into space lol....after the Destroyer caused the earth's destruction...Spyro used all the power within himself to save the earth and piece it together once more.

Since the downfall of the earth was just about complete, save for Spyro's actions, a new age began....so it's a whole new world for everyone to explore...it certainly has plenty of sequel opportunity.

After all the characters are without a leader now....Ignitus is the new Chronicler....and Spyro and Cynder are MIA...even though they are still alive. Would just be very interesting to see what they do with it.

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

Guys, Sierra announced that there will be more Spyro games, but will revolve around the LoS storyline. Evidence:

Will this be the last Spyro game or are there plans to make more after this finale?

Without a doubt, there will be more Spyro games in the future. The entire purpose of the trilogy was to re-establish the characters and the world in a way that would allow for growth and expansion. We’ve only scratched the surface.

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

I don't think anybody saidit on this topic yet but....

The Legend of Spyro (MOVIE!!!) is coming in 2009.... yes type it in on yahoo movies or google (not much info yet though)

The whole series is owned by Universal still? right?

In it I think Spyro will have to face Malefor again because he beat the 'Dragon Ghosts' that took him (idk) still there is a movie coming. I didn't think it would ever happen.

yes more games 2 (yaeh)

If tomorrow may never come, and yesterday is just a memory, then what is today worth?

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

The movie is going to follow the plot from ANB...but depending on if they make just one or more...Spyro will have to face Malefor eventually...but I don't know...it would make sense to make three movies...but knowing them they would just jam it all into one somehow lol...but yeah I hope they don't royaly mess this up...knowing them they will find a way to do it lol...

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

All three games are suppose to be made into films according to what I have been told. There will be some new elements added to the films but each film will basically follow the same storyline as each game in the trilogy did.

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

Good to hear from you again jamieque...and thanks for the info. I would be expecting them to make three different films...but again I'm not the producer or director of any of these films. It would really be good to see three different films for each film...that way none of this will be rushed.

I saw this topic before.
so there will be other Spyro games,
but I don't think like "the legend of spyro".
I think like A hero's tail. where you can explore the place where you've been through over and over again without doing the story.

Re: the final cut scene [*spoiler alert*]

Well since this topic is actually about the final cut scene...I guess it should be on topic lol...they left the end very much open to continue should they choose to do so.

They have stated that they want to continue with the characters and the story...but I don't know if it should be under LoS heading or something else now...but I don't see them using any kind of formula that involves the older games. Even though they certainly could and prolly should.

Haha...MIA means Missing In Action. We don't know where they are by the end of the story...so we are not completely sure of just what they are doing and how they will be involved in future stories.
