The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Well, here it is! The Legend of Spyro’s Siblings: Flood, the Wave Rider. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!
Chapter 1: Go with the Flow
Ignitus and the guardians were walking through the groups of eggs, carefully expecting each. “Hmmm,” Ignitus noticed a water dragon egg. “Well, these are rare. And so sparkly.” The egg itself looked like a glistening bubble. “Well, I guess are patrolling it down. Let us go back.” Ignitus and the rest left the area. “Ignitus?” Terrador wondered. “Exactly where did we get that egg?” “I’m not quite sure.” Ignitus admitted. It sorta should up. It’s mother and father, I’m especially clueless.” He shrugged. “Interesting.” Terrador murmured. As the dragons left, however, a Dreagle just so happened to be flying around. It spotted the shiny egg and swooped down. It snatched the egg with it’s talons and flew off….
Soon, the Dreagle had flown quite far into the ocean. Suddenly, another Dreagle also saw the egg and flew to grab it. “Squ-auck!” The Dreagle holding the egg yelled as it got tackled, letting the egg slip from it’s talons. The egg tumbled right down and plunged into the ocean. It sank to the bottom, and stayed there.
Luckily, the egg was a water egg and could easily survive in the ocean. However, the salt water caused it to mutate into a brand new species of water dragon: A Salt Water dragon! After many days, the egg was finally found. “What’s that?” A Dorolphin(dragon dolphin) asked as it came to inspect the egg. “Not sure.” Answered another. Suddenly, the egg moved. “Wahh! It moved!” The egg moved side to side, before it popped like a bubble, to reveal the Salt Water dragon. It was blue, with a green crest like seaweed, and sandy yellow horns. It had darker blue wings, and also a fin-like tail that fanned out. “What is it?” One of the Dorolphins managed to asked. “I…think it’s a water dragon!” One of the smart ones answered. “But I’ve never seen one like this. Usually, all there features are blue.” “Well, we can’t just leave it here.” The small dragons blinked it sea green eyes at the Dorolphins and glanced around at it’s surroundings. “Ok. We’ll keep it!” The Dorolphins agreed and took the hatchling to there home. Many years past, and the dragon began to uncover it powers, one of which where it turns into a puddle of water. When they learned this, they decided to name him “Flood”. Flood grew up knowing he was a dragon, but he didn’t mind living with the Dorolphins. He had a curious, and easily-awed personality. Oddly enough, even when he reached teenage years, Flood never grew any bigger then the Anb Spyro, even when he was only a bit younger then Dotd Spyro. He became best friends with one in particular, Douse. He also went to the surface often, and taught himself one talent: Surfing. One day, however, his whole life would change…..
(Quick note: There are no lizards in this story, just dragons. Lizards are exclusive to Red Diamond)
Two fisher dragons flew out to catch some fish, when they spotted Flood. He was standing on a raft, surfing with incredible skill and balance. “Get a load of that guy!” One of the fisher dragons commented. “I know! Check out that skill! I wonder if he’s practicing for the Aqua D?” “Maybe. Let’s watch!” The fisher dragons swooped in to watch Flood. Flood was so used to the ocean, it was like it was a part of him. He could easily navigate through the wave and pull of all kinds of stunts, as if he knew it’s every thought. “Wow,” The fisher dragons kept commenting. Flood took one ride all the way to the beach. It was there he noticed he was being watched. “Who are you?” He asked. “Just fisher dragons. But kid, that skill is great! Are you in the Aqua D?” “Huh? Aqua D?” “The Aqua Dragon surf off? You sure look like it.” “Uh, I don’t know what your talking about. And what’s surfing? I was only wave riding.” The two fisher dragons realized Flood did not know what surfing even was, but his talent was so great he had to learn. “Surfing is exactly that. Wave riding. And the Aqua D surf off takes place in Tropic Isle, and island off of here. You should enter!” “I don’t know..” “It’d be perfect! You look like the type that’s never done anything exciting. And it’s only a few more weeks until the surf off. We’ll even guide you there.” This sounded good enough for Flood. “Sure! Lead the way. I’ll tell Douse.” He dove back and let his best friend know. “Sounds good! Who knows, Flood, you may figure out your roots there!” “Maybe. See you, Douse!” After saying there goodbyes, the two parted. Flood followed the fisher dragons all the way to a small island bustling with tourists. The island itself was amazing. It had a giant dragon statue toward the front, and a Volcano in the center. It was heavily decorated with tropical flowers. A bunch of stands had been set up, aswell, and huts linned the back of the beach. Beyond the huts was some kind of tropic jungle. It also had tons of surfers. “Surfing. Wow. I can’t believe I’ve been doing this sport and been oblivious the whole time! And they’ve even personalized there wood planks!” He noticed all the cool designs on the boards. “Were here!” Yelled the fisher dragon. Flood swam up to the beach and saw hundreds of dragons. “Hello, welcome to Tropic Isle!” A hula dancing dragon said, and put a lei around his neck. “Oh wow, thanks!” Flood smelled the flowers. They had a beautiful scent, and Flood had never even stayed above water long enough to ever notice. “We’ve got plenty of tourists stands and huts for you to stay in! We do insist you stay until the Aqua D, it’s gonna be great! Be sure to visit Mt. Halu Appa, also. The lava truly is a spectacular sight, and it is rumored to be the dwelling place of the volcano fire goddess, Fyra. Oh, and watch out for natives! They take there sacrifices to her a little to seriously.” With that, the hula dancing dragon left to greet another dragon. Flood glanced around. “Wow, this place is great!” “Would you like some pineapple?” A dragon holding a tray of skewered pineapples asked. “Sure.” Flood had never tried anything beside seaweed and small fish, and definitely no fruits. He tried it, and was stunned by how much he had been missing out on. “Wow, and to think a place this wonderful was right above me all along! Awed, Flood glanced around at the shops and dragons. Then he looked at the huge waves and saw the surfing dragons. Looking closer, he noticed a fire dragon amongst the water suited surfers. She was red, with sheathed horns like Cynder’s, a flame shaped tail, and fiery crest, and red wings. She wasn’t so bad herself, and aloud her wings to lightly brush the waves as if she had no fear. But Flood knew how Fire Dragons must stay away from water. “Is she crazy!” He though to himself. “Hey!” He called out. “Your gonna get yourself killed!” The fire dragon looked at him, but as soon as she did she began wobbling and fell off her board. “NO!” Flood glided straight into the water after her, and as she sank he grabbed her and carried her to the sand. He waited for her to wake up. She spluttered and few times, and looked. “Are you ok?” Flood asked, holding out a paw for her. She took one look and emotionally exploded. “YOU IDIOT!” She yelled, knocking his paw away. “WHY DID YOU CALL ABOUT MY NAME! NO,WORSE,WHY DID YOU SAVE ME! I’m PERFECTLY CAPABLE OF SAVING MYSELF!” “Hey, wow! Your welcome! There’s no need to be such a hothead!” “WHOSE A HOTHEAD!” She yelled. “YOU! YOU’RE A FIRE DRAGON!” Flood yelled back. Then he mused to himself. “Sheesh. Fire dragons have such a temper. There element certainly matches there personality.” “Listen, you pathetic water dragon,” She said, finally calming down. “I can take care of myself. I’ve grow up independent, and I’m staying independent. Got it?” “Yeah, I guess. Look, I’m sorry, can’t we just make up, fire dragon.” She hissed. “I have a name. It’s Ashley, to you. And no, not after what you’ve ruined! Just stay clear of my way, and we can be friends.” “Fine!” Flood said, turning his back. “Fine!” She agreed, and turned her back as well. “I hate him,” She mused to herself. “I hate her,” Flood also mused. If only the two dragons knew the future, however…..
Well, there’s Ch. 1! Flood and Ashley’s meeting was sure different then Blissia and Ash! Anyway, stay tuned!
And here they are on the generator for a bonus short(remember, Flood is the same age as Ashley, but is a small as ANB Spyro):

Re: The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Ch. 2 is ready! Enjoy!
Ch 2: Fire and Water Equals One Thing: Steam
….If only the dragons knew the future, however….
As Flood stormed off, another hula dancing dragon gave him a flyer. “Come to the Luau tonight! Food, games, and entertainment!” Flood glanced at the flyer. It looked fun enough, a good time passer. Besides, maybe he’d find about a bit more about his past and maybe find his parents. Flood spent the rest of the day tourist shopping, and even got to customise his own board. He asked for a blue board, with a white “F” on it for Flood. They board-makers even added a small wave at the peak of the “F”. After getting his board, Flood went to the 1st hut on the beach and settled in, not minding the tourists as much as whoever chose the huts down the beach. Soon enough the sun began to set and the Luau was about to start. The tourists stands were slowly taken down and replaced with tiki torches and long banquet tables. Once they began letting guests in, Flood came and began looking for dragons like him. Seeing none, he decided he would just try to focus of the Luau. “Limbo contest over here!” Called one of the hosts. “Hey, I might be good at this!” Flood told himself. He went over and lined up, watching as tourist dragons attempted to go under the bar. By the time he reached the front, no one seemed to be able to go under. The pole itself was only a half foot of the ground. “Wanna see how low you can go?” The host ask Flood. “Sure!” Suddenly, a thought came to Flood. He let himself melt into a puddle of water, and slipped right under the pole. When he reshaped, the host yelled, “Now that’s low! We have a winner!” “Yes!” Flood cheered. “Not so fast, Flood.” Said a familiar female voice. Flood’s eyes narrowed when he saw Ashley walk up. She snapped her fingers, and immediately where Ashley stood, a small, flickering flame appeared. It darted forward and went straight under the stick, burning it in the process. Once it got to the other side, it got bigger and then reshaped back into Ashley. “Well,” said the surprised host. “Looks like we’ve got a draw!” Ashley smiled deviously at Flood. He hissed back. This was the start of there new rivalry. Once everyone was eating, Flood and Ashley just so happened to go over to the same banquet table and both grab a fruit kabob. At first, they just glared at each other, taking off a fruit piece at the same time and carefully eating. Then, Ashley grabbed two pieces and put them in her mouth at the same time. Flood, not wanting to be outweighed, took off 3 and ate them. Seeing the competition, Ashley took off and ate four. The two dragons kept doing this and grabbing a new kabob when one was finished. It wasn’t until they ate half of the huge plate of kabobs that a hostess came up and slapped their hands away, saying “Leave some for the tourists!” But that was only the beginning. When a few dragons went night surfing, Flood and Ashley joined. This time, Flood lied down on the back of his board and waved to Ashley as he rode down a wave, showing off. She once again saw the competition, and did a handstand while riding down a wave. Flood then did a cartwheel. Right as they started doing stunts at the same time, a big wave came and brought them to the shore, once again ending their competition. To make matters worse, their huts were right next to each other. “I hate you!” Ashley yelled to him when she learned this. “I hate you more!” Flood retorted. “Just wait, water dragon. Tomorrow will be my opportunity to finally beat you at something, and no draws!” “Will see about that!” Flood yelled. And the two seemed to argue all night. It was never going to end…or was it?….
Meanwhile, in an underwater cavern,
“Only a few weeks until the Aqua D,” Tsuna, an the evil goddess of waves mused. “And then the land will be over run by water! The world shall be flooded!” She cackled and grinned deviously. “Just wait, Fyra, my beloved rival. Your glorious island is my first target…”
Well, there it is! Stay tuned for ch. 3!

Re: The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Ok, Ch: 3 is ready! I have not forgotten, just took a small break. Enjoy!
Chapter 3: Too far
….Or was it? The morning sun woke Flood, as he was not used to it form living under water. He stretched and left his hut for some morning surfing. On the way out, Flood remembered something. “Right, time to get back at Ashley! No draws!” He grinned and prepared to spray her as soon as she walked out. He waited, until finally she walked out into the morning sun, holding and looking at a locket of some sort. He ignored this and dowsed her with water. “HA! Got you!” He fell on his back laughing, but was surprised when there was no response. He got up to see what happened. To his shock, Ashley was staring at him in disbelief, then back to her locket, now drenched and seemingly broken. She gave him an angrily look, but for the first time, he could have sworn he saw tears in the corners of her eyes. “How…HOW COULD YOU!” She yelled, and ran back into her hut. Flood sat there, not knowing what to think. A water dragon who had seen the whole thing came up to him. “That was too far, man.” He told Flood. “What do you mean?” “You don’t know yet, do you?” Flood shook his head. “You see, Ashley doesn’t know where she came from.” Flood gave him a shocked look. Neither did he! “Anyway, she just appeared on the island, and had nothing with her but a strange locket of some sort. No one knows where she came from, so she just got a hut and grew up here. She didn’t want to stand out, so she learned to surf, the capital sport of the island.” Flood understood now. Guilt pulsed through him, he had broken her only remnant of her family! He had to make it up to her somehow, but how? He thought, then an idea occurred. “That’s it!” He ran over to the edge of the jungle, and began gnawing on the edge of a tree, until sap poured out. He gathered some in his paw and ran over to Ashley’s hut. He peered inside, and saw her in the corner, sulking. “H-hi.” He stammered, walking in. “Sorry. I didn’t know….” She breathed a stream of fire at him as a warning symbol. He kept approaching. “Anyway, I came to fix it!” He picked up the locket slowly. She stared at him, but didn’t say anything. He spread some sap on the dent toward the middle, and pressed the red ruby back into place. “Here,” He held it out to her. She snatched it and hissed, and Flood backed away and left the hut. “Well, I guess I won’t see her for a while.” Suddenly, a dragon flew overhead, yelling something. All the dragons started running away. “Huh? What’s going on?” Flood wondered. He peered into the jungle, and suddenly a bunch of dragons with odd clothes and symbols painted on them appeared. They didn’t have wings, even. “We need sacrifice!” One yelled. “He look good!” Said another, pointing to Flood. “We take him to volcano. He make good offering to Fyra!” “HEY, WAIT, WHAT?!?” Flood yelled as they picked him up and ran back into the jungle. He struggled to get free, put they hit him with something and he was knocked out…..
When he awoke, he was being carried up a narrow mountain path spiraling upward. His wings were pinned down, so he could not spread them. He waited to see where they were taking him. They got to the top, and he realized they had scaled up a huge volcano. They became walking across a thing rock plank. “We throw him now!” They suggested. “NO! Wait!” Flood yelled in protest, but they hoisted him up and brought him toward the edge. Despite ho much he struggled, they managed to throw him off. “AHHHH!” Flood yelled as he spiraled down to the lava. He was a goner, for sure. He closed his eyes and prepared for the worst….
Suddenly, he felt himself fall into giant scaly paws. He peered around, and gasped. A huge red fire dragon was halfway in the lava, her upper body and hands towering over it. She had caught him. “Hello, little one.” She said, her voice magic and powerful. Flood stuttered. “Who-who are you?!” She smiled. “I am Fyra. Goddess of Land and Volcanoes.” Flood was shocked. She was real?!?! He looked at her again. She had all the features of a fire dragon, with a huge red cape with a pink crystal hanging down on her chest. “Yes, I am real. And I have watched you, Flood.” How did she know his name? “Oh, and I must ask you treat my daughter good.” She winked. “Huh?” Flood wondered. “Wait, you couldn’t possibly mean Ashley??!!” Fyra laughed a bit and nodded. “Yes, Ahsley is my daughter. She is part-goddess. Though she doesn’t know it, and I ask you don’t tell her.” Flood nodded. “Until you at least find your mother.” Flood was stunned. Was his mother on the island, too? “ I gave her the locket you accidentally broke. I wanted her to have a small reminder of who she is. Well, I should probably bring you back to the islanders. They’re probably worried.” She rose up until her entire body was out of the lava, with Flood still in her paws, and flew into the sky, passing the awestruck natives. She flew over head and dropped Flood into the ocean, then flying back into the volcano. After being so exposed to the heat, Flood enjoyed the cool temperature of the ocean. He swam back, and then called. “I’m alive, everyone! Not a sacrifice!” The dragons flooded over to him, clapping him on the back and high-pawing him. “Awesome. You’ve never ceased to amaze us, Flood.” Flood smiled. “Thanks, guys.” “You should probably tell Ashley that your ok. She’s the one whose been crying the most.” Flood looked at the dragon with disbelief. “Ashley’s bein cyring for me?” “Oh yeah, when she heard you were a sacrifice, she started bawling.” Flood still couldn’t believe it. The Ashley who he had just learned was part goddess was worried for him? The one he hated? “Well, I had better go see her.” He walked over to her hut. “Knock-knock.” He side, smiling when he saw her tear stained face. “F-Flood?” She stammered in disbelief. She wiped the tears from her eyes. “You were crying for me, huh?” Flood sneered. She gave him a mad look. “Was not! I was crying since I had lost my rival! My source of fun!” Flood laughed a bit and shook his head. “Well, I’ll be in my hut.” He said, walking back. “Wait, flood?” She asked. “Hmm?” “Um, were still going to be enemies, right?” He laughed. “If you like,” He said, smiling. She smirked back. “Great, water boy.” She sneered, and Flood pointed to his eyes with his claws, then hers, before going back to his hut.
Well, quit some events there! Stay tuned!
And as a Bonus Short, I’ve got the natives and Fyra on the generator! Here they are:

Re: The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Right now! My next chap is readywith a big delay, but there‘s a good reason. See, I’ve been on a ski trip the last few weeks, but on the second to last day, I fractured my thumb after crashing into a tree(ouch). I’m back now, and though it took a while to write a chapter with a fractured thumb, I managed(though the space bar was annoying). This is actually one of my favorite chapters. Enjoy!
Ch. 4: Love Arrow
Flood slept silently, thinking aboutthe recent events. Ashley was part goddess, and had a soft side. He remembered being told she had cried for him, even. “But why is she suddenly so nice?” Flood wondered. But thenanother question hit him. “Whose my mom?” He thought of the female water dragons on the island, but none of them looked at all like him. He felt a tinge of envy that Ashley had a parent right here on the island, and Flood did not. He sighed. “Well, the Aqua D’s in a few days. Better sleep up…” Suddenly, he heard a rustle outside “Huh?” He peered around, but he didn’t see anyone. “Must have imagined it….” He closed he eyes and began to drift off…..
“So, that’s the water dragon?” A high-pitched female voice asked. Three outlines of small pink dragons shown from behind a palm tree. They were Love Spirits, mischievous servants of the Love Dragoness who liked to play around with dragons’ relationships . “Yup, and the fire dragon lives next door. They hate each other, but I know they have feelings for one another…” “Yeah, but those feelings need a little push, don’t you think?” Asked the leader love spirit. The others giggled and agreed. “Totally.” “Ok, here’s the plan…..”
“Owowow….” Flood moaned. He opened one eye and peered around. With a shock, he realized he was in a cave. But no ordinary cave; an underground cave. Glancing up, Flood could see a dim light way up high, and he could tell he had washed down a hole in the middle of the jungle. “Wait, how did all the way to the jungle?…” He wondered. Suddenly, he heard something behind him. “Ow, stupid, stupid, stupid SAND!” He immediately recognized the harsh voice: It was Ashley’s. “Ashley?” He said in disbelief. She turned. “FLOOD! YOU DRAGGED ME HERE DIDN’T YOU? I HOPE YOU LIKE YOUR WINGS EXTRA CRISPY!” Flood cringed back as she prepared to blast him with fire. “W-Wait! I don’t know how we ended up here! Understand!” Ashley exhaled some smoke and backed up. “Fine. I believe you. Now let’s get out, I don’t want to spend anymore time here with a water dragon.” Flood shot her an angry look before staring down the long path. “We might as well follow it.” Flood suggested. Ashley scampered ahead of him and yelled for him to hurry up. Flood chuckled slightly and followed. “Man, it’s like nothing happened the day before. It’s back to the old relationship.” He sighed and followed the fire dragon down the path. “I wonder where we are?” Flood wondered aloud. They suddenly burst out to a blue-stoned cave. There were holes in the walls. “Where is this?” They glanced around. “Great, a dead end.” Suddenly, Ashley got another mood swing. “WAIT A GO, FLOOD!!!!! WERE STUCK IN THIS CAVE FOR THE ANCESTORS KNOW HOW LONG!!!!!!!” “Ashley! Try to come down!” Flood said, suddenly afraid to be alone with the angry fire demigoddess. Smoke rose from her nostrils as she pressed on. “OH, I’M JUST GETTING STARTED! I CAN’T WAIT TO BURN YOU TO ASHES, FLOOD! YOU’LL WANT TO HAVE NEVER COME HERE AND GET STUCK WITH THIS FIRE DRAGON!…..” “Hey, this looks like a good time!” Said one of the Love Spirits from inside one of the holes. “Yup.” Agreed the leader, smiling deviously and tapping a vile of pink liquid with her claw. She poured it into a small arrow. “We‘ll go for the fire dragon.” Said the leader. She lined it up with Ashleys’ back, and sent it whistling toward here. “…..WE WOULD HAVE NEVER MET HAD YOU NOT TRIED TO KILL ME, AND WOULD BE ALL……Ow!” She felt the sharp arrow in her back and clapped her hands together where the arrow had hit. “Bug.” she murmured, before continuing. “FLOOD, YOU JERK! YOU IDIOT! YOU….” She trailed off. Flood peered over his wings which he had been hiding behind as she scolded. She stood, frozen, her eyes fixed on Flood. Her vision felt blurring, and slowly Flood began to form back onto her eyes. “Ashley?” He asked, wondering why she stopped abruptly. He began to walk toward her. “Flood…” she said in a new voice. Suddenly, she went up to him and hugged him. Flood glanced down at her in shock. She looked up, still holding him in her embrace. The look of hatred had left her eyes and replaced by an odd warmth. A pink blush line had formed below her eyes on her snout. “Flood…” She said in a dreamy voice. “I never realized how handsome you are…..”
Oh, wow! This ought to be interesting! Tune in to the next chap!

Re: The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Chapter 5 is done! I’ve also added a new main character that will be present for the rest of the story, so read to find out!
Chapter 5: Love Virus
“I never realized how hansom you are…..” “WH-WHAT!” Flood yelled in shock, shoving her away. “Ashley, what’s gotten into you?!” She looked back at him, smiling dreamily. “I fallen in love.” She said, closing her eyes, leaning toward him, and aiming a kiss at him. He dodged out of the way. “WHAT THE MALEFOR IS YOUR PROBLEM?!?!” Flood yelled in exasperation. Suddenly, he noticed a pink liquid dripping out of a small arrow. He picked it up and examined it. “This is….” He realized the arrow tip had one of Ashley’s scales. “Wait a second! Could this be….” He remembered when she had felt the sharp stab, and realized. “Love potion!” He turned and realized Ashley was holding onto his arm, rubbing her head affectionately on him. “Flood, Flood, my one and only love.” Flood sighed. He my have been saved from a toasting, but now she just wasn’t herself. “Ok, who did this?!” He asked aloud. He herd the giggling of the Love Spirits. “We did.” They said, jumping out of the holes. “What are you?” Flood demanded. “Love Spirits.” The leader said. “We help out relationships. We thought yours needed some more “affection”.” They chuckled again. Flood looked down at the “new Ashley” and had a mood swing of his own. “BUT THIS IS FAKE!” He yelled out in exasperation. “IT’S NOT REAL LOVE!” The Love Spirits shrugged. “Well, we’ve had our fun.” The leader concluded after a long while. “Let’s go.” Before Flood could say more, they disappeared. “No!” He yelled after them. Suddenly, a light around him began to glow, and the cave around him vanished. Next thing he knew he was back on the beach, Ashley still clinging to his arm. The Love Spirits had teleported him back. “Wow!” A water dragon from the beach said. “Check out the hothead!” The dragons gathered around. “Is this real?!?!” They gasped in disbelief. “Wait! No, this isn’t real at all! Ashley has been hit by a love arrow!” Flood yelled out, and held up the broken arrow. The crowd went quiet, muttering occasionally. Flood looked around, Ashley still holding on his arm with her eyes closed. Her naturally hot scales were beginning to burn his skin. “Let me see the arrow!” Called out a females’ voice. Flood turned and immediately noticed the water dragon Aquella, the most knowledgeable dragon on the island. The crowd began to part to let her through. “Flood, may I talk to you?” The crowd leaned in. “Privately?” she quickly added. The crowd moaned and gradually parted. Flood handed her the Arrow. “This has Love Spirits written all over it.” She carefully examined the arrow. “This love potion is no ordinary one. In fact….” Suddenly, a look of panic entered her face. “Flood! Get away from Ashley now!” She scampered away. “WHAT?!? Why?” He looked down. Ashley used this to her advantage. “I love you, Flood!” She yelled, and planted a kiss straight on his lips. A look of shock swarmed into Flood’s face, and Ashley gradually broke the kiss. Suddenly, Flood felt light headed. “What’s…..going……on.” He wondered. He realized he felt just as Ashley had looked back at the cave. He shook his head in an effort to clear it. As his vision got better, he saw the only ice dragon on the island: Aurora. She was a lei maker, and always kept a low profile, so Flood hadn’t noticed her much. But as Flood’s vision cleared, he stared at her in shock. Her scales seemed to glow now, a beautiful vibrant color like ice reflecting light. “She’s so…..” Flood staggered. “Beautiful.” A blush line identical to Ashley’s formed on his snout. He began to approach the ice dragon. She looked over to Flood. “Flood…” She said, surprised by his look. “Hello. Can I help you?” He threw his paws around her. “Your very pretty….You know that?” Aurora was very surprised. “I-I don’t understand.” She said, lightly pushing him away. “There’s nothing to understand.” He whispered, smiling. Ashley, still infatuated, grabbed onto his arm and proceeded to swing on it happily, oblivious to Flood’s new love. “He’s under the effects of a love potion!” Yelled Aquella’s voice. “Huh?” She approached the three. “I tried to warn him. The potion was no ordinary one; it was a Love Virus Potion. Once it has entered a dragon’s blood, in this case Ashley’s, they immediately fall in love with the first dragon they see. However, the potion is like a disease: the first dragon Ashley kissed would fall in love as well. Apparently, Flood saw you first. Luckily, it can only spread once, so you have nothing to worry about. But you will have to deal with Flood until we figure out an antidote.” Aurora sighed and looked back at Flood. He stared at her, love struck. “Come now, back to my hut. I’m sure we can find the ingredients for the antidote. We only need it for Ashley; once she turns back, so will whoever she kissed.” Aquella gestured for Aurora to follow. Flood followed close behind, slightly drooling as he stared at her scales, glittering from the sun. And Ashley was still in her own prince charming fantasy, murmuring “Flood, I love you!” every now and then. Finally they got to the hut. “Here.” Aquela handed Aurora a book. “See if you can find an antidote.” The ice dragon carefully turned the pages, until she found it. “Love Virus Antidote. Let‘s see: 1 palm frond, 1 pineapple spike, and 1 cup of lava.” “Lucky for us it’s Ashley whose drinking this. The lava would probably melt anyone elses’ throat.” Aquella slam closed the book. “Let’s go.” She left the hut and the 4 went straight into the forest. “I’ll get the lava, you get the palm frond and pineapple spike.” Aquella ordered. Aurora nodded and walked to find a palm tree. Flood wrapped his paws around her waist once again. “Aren’t my scales freezing you to death?” She asked. Ice dragons’ scales were the opposite of fire dragons; they were as cold as ice itself. Aurora was used to not want to be touched by anyone, yet Flood had her in his tight embrace. “No cold in the world can keep me from love.” Flood said, hugging her waist tightly. Suddenly, Aurora realized she was blushing. But not in the way Ashley and Flood were, but a more self-conscious blush. “Why is my heart racing?” She asked herself. She hardly new Flood, and the way he was acting now was all fake, but still….
“I ….couldn’t possibly like him?” She jolted slightly when she said “like”. For a while, she completely forgot about her mission. As they walked, Aurora began to realized she enjoyed having Flood so near her. As soon as she passed a palm tree, she remembered the mission. “Oh, right!” She broke his grip and picked up a palm frond. “This should do. Now, for a pineapple spike….” Suddenly, something occurred to her. Did she want to turn Flood back? She had never met a dragon who wasn’t bothered by her freezing scales until Flood fell in love with her. Surely Ashley wasn’t much a problem in this state. “No, I must turn him back. I need to get to know….the real Flood.” She went back to searching until she found a few growing pineapples. She plucked a spike off and went back to where Flood and Ashley were waiting. Aurora found herself leaning back into Flood, wanting him to hug her again, bring her cold scales some warmth. He obviously did, and she happily went back to Aquella’s hut. “Got the lava.” Aquella said, holding up a rock-full of bubbling liquid. “I’m sure you found the other things?” Aurora nodded. “Great. Put them into the lava.” Aurora obliged, putting the two other ingredients into the liquid. “Perfect. Now, getting her to drink this shouldn’t be hard.” Aquella went over to Ashley, who was continuously murmuring “Flood”. Aquella tilted the fire dragons’ head back and poured the antidote down her throat. Ashley coughed a few times and shook her head, and the blush line was gone. She immediately noticed she was holding Flood’s arm and shoved away. “AH! FLOOD! WHAT HAPPENED?” Flood, who shook himself of his own trance, turned. “You were hit by a love arrow and fell in love with me.” He grinned. She glared at him in disbelief. “WHAT? I refuse to believe that!” She was blushing, but this time from embarrassment. “Hate to burst your bubble. You should have seen yourself! ‘Flood! I love you Flood!’ is what you kept repeating. You even kissed me!” Ashley couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “O-On the lips?” She asked quietly. Flood nodded, smirking. Suddenly, he was engulfed by fire. “AHHH! HOT!” He yelled as Ashley breathed a fire blast on him. She stopped to reveal an ash covered Flood, the tips of his wings still with remnants of fire. “That wasn’t nice!” Aurora suddenly called out, and went over to Flood. She breathed a frosty snow breath on Ash, which blotted out all the flames. “Thanks. Oh, and you must be Aurora!” He suddenly remembered falling for her. “I’m terribly sorry about the love virus. I hope I didn’t do anything to awkward.” “Not at all.” Aurora replied, beaming. “O-k.” Flood answered, clearly not understanding why she was so happy. “Come on, Flood. Let’s go practice.” Ashley suddenly said, pulling him away. “Sure.” Flood replied. As he was dragged by the fire dragon, he could of sworn he saw Ashley glaring at Aurora. The ice dragon returned the glare. Little did Flood know a new feeling at that moment had been given to Ashley: jealousy.
Wow, looks like Ashley has some competition! I wonder if this will cause her to act more “romantic” around Flood? Tune in for the next chap!
As for a bonus short, here's the pic of Aurora!:

Re: The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Thanks! I usually just see what I need to help the story progress. In this case, I needed a quieter character(Aurora) with a crush on the main to make the "tsundere" character(Ashley) stop being offensive at the main and more defensive of the main.

Re: The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Ch. 6 is done! Enjoy!
Ch 6: Rivalry
…. “Get your board, Flood. Were going surfing.” Ashley released her grip on his shoulder to go get her own. Flood grabbed his board and followed. He couldn’t help wondering. “Why is Ashley suddenly want to be around me? I thought once we turned her back, she would hate me for weeks.” He shrugged and paddle out to where she was waiting. “Hey Flood,” She suddenly suggested, “Um, I could, ah, give you some surfing lessons if you like.” He stared at here. “You know, I’ve been surfing longer then you. I could help with poster and stuff…” She must have been able to tell Flood thought it was awkward, and quickly put; “Just so you don’t hopelessly lose. I’m still winning.” She flicked her tail for emphasis. “Now, here comes a wave.” She paddled surprising near to Flood. As the wave picked the two up, Ashley swerved her board right next to Flood. “Keep your paws more spread out.” She told him. Ashley suddenly looked over to the shore, to see Aurora stringing leis and watching the two. Suddenly, Flood felt Ashley pick up his front paws. “You can also stand on your hind legs. Make sure that your tail balances out the shift of weight.” She quickly pressed Flood against her body, and put her tail on his as she “taught him”. Aurora stifled a laugh. Ashley was being very obvious to look like Floods’ girlfriend. “Ashley,” Flood said, confused with the contact. “Maybe you should, ah…” Ashley immediately shoved away. “Right, yeah.” The waved carried them back to shore. “Well, hope you learned something. Hey, wanna get a smoothie?” Flood looked at her, puzzled again. “Sure?…” She dragged him over to the surf shack and plopped him on one of the seats that circled the shack. A husky water dragon turned to them. “Hey, how can I help ya?” Before Flood could order, Ashley quickly said. “One Drakeberry Pineapple smoothie.” The husky water dragon laughed. “Just like you to not say “please” when you order. Anyway, coming right up.” “Ashley?” Flood demanded. “Why did you order 1?” Before she answered, the water dragon brought the smoothie over in a coconut shell. “And two straws, for you and your boyfriend.” He laughed again. Flood expected Ashley to say something like “HE’S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!!!!!” but she took the drink and straws without a word. She shoved one straw in Flood’s mouth and the other in hers before she began sipping. Flood sipped as well, but very awkwardly. “This must be a side effect of the love potion.” He figured. But something still puzzled him; why did she keep shooting glances toward the other side of the beach? But Flood wouldn’t have to wonder long. “Hi, Flood!” said a sweet, familiar voice. “Aurora!” Flood said, noting the glare in Ashley’s eyes when he greeted her. “Um, would you like to come help me pick flowers for the leis? With the Aqua D in a few days, were getting tons of tourists.” “Sure!” Flood quickly replied. He wanted to get away from Ashley by now, her whole new acting freaking him out. “Great, come on.” Before Ashley could say anything, Aurora flew up over her, holding Flood by his paw, and toward the jungle. “This is great bonding time, huh Flood?” Flood looked at her with confusion. “I….guess.” The two landed in a meadow of orchids. “I wanted to talk to you anyway.” She said, not meeting his eyes as she picked. “Ok.” Flood said, shrugging. “Flood………don’t you think Ashley treats you a little harshly?” Flood stared at her. “What do you mean?” “Think about it Flood…..She’s constantly yelling at you, scorching you for no reason, and never appreciates what you do for her. Why do you tolerate it? If I had a girlfriend like that, I’d get rid of her immediately.” Flood jolted. “She was never my girlfriend!” He protested. Aurora stifled a laugh. “Oh, Flood. Are you blind?” Flood tilted his head in confusion. “Everyone on the island can tell Ashley likes you. Even before the love potion, she always was so flustered around you.” Flood still didn’t quit seem to get it. Then it hit him: The crying when he vanished, the slight appreciation when he fixed her necklace, the blushing when she learned she had kissed him while under the effects of the potion. Did that all mean she had a crush on him? In a strange way, it made sense. “I don’t blame her.” Aurora said in a quiet voice. Flood looked up. “Huh?” “Flood, it’s no wonder she’s fallen for you. Your so kind, brave, and determined. I’ve watched you surf, and try to help Ashley before either being scorched or shoved away. She lacks appreciation, and doesn’t deserve you.” The ice dragon paused. “You deserve better treatment, Flood. And I know a dragon who could give that to you, if you like.” She blushed slightly pink and stared at the ground, shuffling her paws. Flood processed what she had told him, then realized: She has just confessed her feelings to me! “Aurora…” Flood stammered. “I don’t know what to say….” She looked up. “Of course, you must prefer fire dragons. After all, they won’t freeze you to death when they touch you.” Aurora sighed. “No! It’s not that! This is all so new to me, I need time to think.” He got up from picking and stretched his wings. “I’m going back to the hut.” He waved goodbye and flew up, out of sight. Aurora settled back down. “He considered me!” She told herself happily. She immediately pictured Ashley, paws folded and steam rising from her nostrils as Aurora wore a brides’ gown and Flood wore a hansom bowtie. The image made her squeal in delight, but it suddenly hit her that Flood still considered Ashley. “If I want to win this battle for my man, I’ll have to play the game first.” She smiled in spite of herself, a devious look never before seen on the ice dragon. “I need to talk to Ashley.” She decided, scooping up her basket of flowers and flying over to where the fire dragon sat, burning leaves out of anger. “Hey, fire dragon!” She called, landing beside her. “You!” Ashley spat. “What do you want?” “I want my dragon!” Aurora retorted. Ashley jumped up, smoke spiraling from her nose. “Flood’s mine!” She said defensively. “So you do like him!” Aurora said, as if she never was positive. “Well…..” It was easy to tell Ashley didn’t want to admit it. “Oh, you don’t? Well, I guess I get him.” This pushed Ashley over the edge. “Yes! I do like him!” She admitted. “And were getting married and having draklings, and your not interfering!” Aurora took on her mad side. “Oh, yeah?! Well, I’ll have you know Flood likes me a lot more! I don’t burn him every time he looks at me!” Ashley was caught off guard, and Aurora smiled the fire dragons’ mean attitude was used against her. “Having second thoughts on how we treated Flood, are we?” Aurora sneered. Ashley breathed a stream of fire at Aurora, who danced out of the way and continued. “He loves my sweet attitude, unlike your hot-headed one!” Ashley stared Aurora right in the eyes. “That’s not my fault!” She finally said. “I’m a fire dragon! I never chose this attitude!” Aurora looked taken aback. The fire dragon had a point, though it solved nothing. “He still likes me more!” She concluded. “How do you know?” Ashley retorted. The two female dragons were quiet for moment. “Tell you what!” Aurora concluded. “Nearby, there is an island that is constantly plagued by snow and blizzards. Tomorrow, we will both fly over there and pretend were stuck. Whoever Flood rescues first will be his girlfriend, and the other one will back off.” Aurora held out a paw. Ashley shook it. “Deal.” She said defiantly. Little did the dragons know, however, it won’t happen the way they planned…..
Well, so concluded Ch. 6! I’m pretty glad Ashley’s feeling were finally said, but now she had Aurora in the way. Who will win the bet? Stay tuned!

Re: The Legend Of Spyro's Siblings: Flood, The Wave Rider
Ch. 7 is done! I mixed up the numbers a bit, but I edited it correctly. Enjoy!
Ch 7: Fire and Ice
Flood slept curled in his hut, musing over the days’ events. “I can’t believe I was so oblivious.” He told himself. What’s worse, he was too late; he was now the love interest of Aurora, so any relationship with Ashley is stuck hard. “And I still don’t know who my mom was.” He said. He rolled on his back and looked at the straw on the ceiling of his hut. One question was stuck in his mind; who would he confess back to? Ashley or Aurora? Fire or ice? Knowing thinking won’t help, Flood closed his eyes and waited for sleep to take him away from his problems; his stress of a rivalry all because of him….
Flood awoke the next morning to hollering outside. “What’s going on?” He asked as he trotted out. “Ashley and Aurora!” Yelled one dragon. “They went to Blizzard Isle and haven’t returned!” “What? Aurora’s gone?!” Yelled a voice from inside one of the huts. A husky water dragon came charging out, and Flood recognized him as the dragon from the surf shop where Ashley and his got the smoothies. “Easy, Soak. I don’t think they’re hurt. But they need help. Why do you care so much, anyway?” The water dragon shrunk back. “N-No reason.” Soak insisted, and quickly went back to his hut. Flood was dizzy with rage after he heard the news. “It’s probably because of me!” He yelled out. “I need to save them!” He spread out his wings and took off over the broad ocean. Only one think kept appearing in his mind: “It’s my fault, it’s my fault, it’s my fault.” After flying for what felt like forever, a snow capped isle came into view. “There it is! I’m coming, you two!” He landed on the edge of the snow, and immediately began shivering as he felt the winds of the snow storm. “Wow….This is freezing!” It occurred to him that if he were to pick Aurora, it would be like this all the time. He shook the thought away and began trudging, knowing flying was useless against the blizzard. He continued, shaking more violently and walking more weakly, but he kept going…..
“What’s keeping him?” Ashley asked aloud. Her and Aurora were waiting in a cavern farely far down the isle. “Don’t know.” The ice dragon admitted. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her. “What if…..what if this weather is too intense for him?” Ashey glanced over. “How so?” “Like, too cold? He could be freezing to death right now, and it’d be all our fault….” Ashley shot her a nervous glance. “What if your right?” Panic was clear in her voice. “We should probably go check!” Aurora agreed, and the dragons sprinted out.
“Ashley…….Aurora……I’m c-c-coming.” Flood said weakly as he walked through the harsh snow. His wings had practically frozen over, and his tail could hardly move. But he refused to stop until he found them. “Flood!” Ashley called as the dragons raced toward her. “Ashley…I’ll s-s-s-save y-y-you.” Suddenly his legs gave way, and he collapsed into the snow. “NO! Flood!” Ashley yelled. Aurora trotted up to him. “He’s super cold.” Ashley said, feeling his scales. “I’ll help move him…” Aurora offered. “No way!” Ashley quickly spat. “You’re an ice dragon! Do you want him to freeze more?” Aurora quickly withdrew her paws with a slightly sad look on her face. “Ok, um, you bring him over to the cavern.” The two dragons walked against the blizzard, Ashley carrying Flood on her back. Aurora did not seem to mind the weather, but kept Ashley’s pace. They finally arrived at the cavern. Ashley put him against the back wall. “Flood? Flood, can you hear me? It’s Ashley.” Aurora was almost shocked at the sweet, concerned tone Ashley was using. Ashley carefully breathed a light flame by his wings to defrost him. Then, she curled up beside him in an effort to keep his scales warm. “She really does like him.” Aurora said to herself. Ashley was showing a side of her never seen before, the side Aurora was convinced didn’t exist. Suddenly, Aurora sighed deeply and turned to Ashley. “You win.” She said. Ashley turned, still not moving her warm scales from Flood’s. “Huh?” “You won. You’ve proved to me Flood will be treated right in your care. Beside, right before he collapsed he said he would save you, not me.” Flood stirred in his sleep; he could here them talking, but did not dare open his eyes. Aurora looked at the ground. “Aurora….seriously? Are you really fine with that?” “It’s ok.” The ice dragon insisted. “I don’t want Flood getting hurt any more because of us. We both loved him, but only one can have him.” Aurora half expected Ashley to object about the love part, but she said nothing. “It’s really fine. I can move on.” Ashley watched the ice dragon carefully. “I’m sure there’s a dragon out there who would appreciate the sweet attitude you have.” The encouragement slightly shocked Aurora. Then she nodded. “Thanks.” She sat down and curled herself up, yawning. “We’ll sleep her. By the morning, you’ll probably have Flood sweating.” Ashley nodded and closed her own eyes, leaning into the water dragon. Flood, who had heared the whole thing, decided to sleep himself, but before he did, he told himself. “That’s that. I choose Ashley.”
All right, I’m wrapping up the mini rivalry between Ashley and Aurora for the past 3 chapters. Stay tuned for the next!
