Horror for Spyro
How about some horror for spyro, I always imagined Ghosts or Vampires or Werewolfs on spyro.

Re: Horror for Spyro
No way.
How I see it, Spyro is a happy, colorful universe, not dark and bad :-|

Re: Horror for Spyro
I want spyro to be scary, evil. nothing like Restitance, I just want the series to be a bit more darker.

Re: Horror for Spyro
Darker than TLoS? No thank you. Spyro's already become much more "dark" than it was originally intended to be.

Re: Horror for Spyro
i don't think a horror on spyro is a good idea
i mean it will scare the kids
then after that there will be no more spyro because of the horror idea

Re: Horror for Spyro
I agree with Stormy. This series is already so detached from the original image in both story and themes that adding more darker elements to it wouldn't bode very well. At least that's what I think. LoS was a pretty good balance if not a little hefty on darkness.

Re: Horror for Spyro
I mean by more death in the series and a villian that actually scares you, someone dangerous, someone who would kill everyone spyro loves to get his way.

Re: Horror for Spyro
Well I don't see anything like that happening....if things got that dark then I would really get depressed...I just think they should stick the the formula that they have.

I agree:) I play Spyro to get a happy mood, not to be scared or feel depressed.

Re: Horror for Spyro
I think Spyro could be expanded. It's just that there's a lot of idiots out there who make the game for the money and don't even have creativity. There's like a million ideas for Spyro. Maybe it's just that I'm creative, but I mean come on....
Why can't there be a Spyro horror movie?
They moved from old school spyro to LoS. So there must be room for a horror, right?

Re: Horror for Spyro
The thing is, Spyro already has a genre and that is fantasy. I don't know if it would go over well if they tried to do a fantasty-horror type thing.

Re: Horror for Spyro
The horror thing is just rediculous...there is no way that it would happen...and even if it did....as Stormy said.....Spyro has one genre and one alone...and that's fantasy. Things would not go well if they inserted serious horror elements in with the once fun loving and comedic dragon.

No, actually I'm more scared that if someone is idiotic enough to actually blend Spyro with the horror genre that they will completly butcher any faith I have in their ability to create something that delivers.
Fans want to see the Spyro they are use to seeing and loving...they are not going to look at it and say "Yeah let's go ahead and create a violent horror Spyro story that is going to be directed at the 10% of pre-teen kids who are actually capable of liking horror."
Nah I think they will have a little more mathmatical sense in that decision. Of course that's what I think ...

Re: Horror for Spyro
Well you've got your opinion and i've got mine, okay?spyro may be fun loving but u have to go much deeper into spyro's world if spyros going to contunie on.
if youre that worried about spyro taking on horror u should aboden the series. I'd rather have spyro this way then some little kids game, anyway u should really take into mind whot horror really is. spyro is halfway to the horror-fantasy world already. but really i don't care whether spyro stays caring and colurful or dark and scary. bear in mind though that spyro can't stay how is now forever.

Re: Horror for Spyro
And that is true. But to go more in-depth into Spyro's world can be easily done without introducing horror to the character. Like I said....they will not target the market that they aim for with a genre that has little support there.

Re: Horror for Spyro
like i said spyro can't stay like that forever! maybe a ghost or something thats not scary to anyone think about it spyro needs at least some horror to survive.

Re: Horror for Spyro
Sorry just not feeling it. Spyro has been getting along fine without horror, and the most I think you will see is just a more mature and rather darker storyline and character development. Again they have no reason to target a market that will not bring them any income.
Will they need to shake things up yes...but doing it through horror means is far from their minds and their revenue plans.

Re: Horror for Spyro
as spyro matures he will be facing more dangerous enemys thats whot i mean , a dagerous enemy with a darker storyline and u could bring up ghots and vampires without making it scary eg. u don't see the vampire killing someone. i just like to see a bit more horror anyway its not like its going to revert to anything like that unless sierra decides they want more money which will problay kill off spyro.
i also like the darker storyline idea thats what i mean.

Re: Horror for Spyro
Well that is up to Sierra to decide. They have already derived far enough from the originals with LoS...and if they decide to get into something as rediculous as Vampires and Werewolves then I've lost all faith in the image of the Spyro I once knew and loved.
Needless to say I adapt to the games no matter what happens usually....but if they did something that radical I see it doing more hurt to the series then any benefit.

Re: Horror for Spyro
really i don't care spyro is on scale here i don't know what will happen if they put horror on that scale but if they contuine like this i won't mind. i just would'nt mind some horror, okay. it would probaley never happen. it was just a thought. in fact i love spyro how it is. maybe some people like it please those people can u speak up now.
so don't pest me anymore on how much u hate the idea!

Re: Horror for Spyro
Well when you created the post you should have known that some people would have vastly different ideas lol....that happens with everything like this. I was simply saying my own two cents about it since I am aloud to speak my mind just as you are.
I really don't care what they do in the end...so long as it's for the good of Spyro. Either way you kept continuing to post in response to mine so I was simply continuing as with a normal debate. That's what typically happens.
