The Shadow Era: The Evil Beginnings

Book 1
Chapter One

As the eggs were smashed by the dark masters forces. We were fighting to get to the Temple. No-one knew that they had a spy of the dark master forces in that group that were fighting. So the dark master set lose a demon from the neather relem to slay the group, even the spy. Over 5 hours pasted. All where killed by the demon, well thats what the dark master had knowed from the forces in the temple. Only one lived and his name was Hunter.

Book 1
Chapter 2

Hunter left the area after the forces and their leader, Gaul had moved out. Hunter tried to get it but remember dragons had told him "The temple will defend its self by keeping its door closed until the invaders where kicked out." so he gave up, and made his way back to the campsit to tell the tale of what had happend there. He knew that the monster had left the area, but to where? He got to a river and cupped his hands and got some water out and took a sip. He heard a crush of a twig somone or somthing was watching him. Slowly he picked up his bow and reached of an arrow.

Book 1
Chapter 3

The thing jumped and Hunter turned and aimed. The thing was a local swamp gurble harmless when its not hungry but Hunter guessed this was hungry. It growled. Hunter fired. It hit the gruble in its face, it yelped. Hunter fired again. It hit it in the face again. It then fell in the river. Hunter grinned. Looked in its bag it had. He found a map and some arrows. He took the stuff in the bag and the bag itself. Then he sat on a rock at the sky. It was blood red.

Chapter 4

Hunter ran to the camp along the river. It started to get dark. Hunter kept going but be knew that armolies drink from the river at night and could get angry. Soon Hunter saw smoke in the sky he had nearly made it. He started to slow down but heard clumping. Armolies had woken up. Hunter climbed a tree just as he saw an armolie. Big, tall bears are one way to describe them. He kept jumping from tree to tree to stop the armolies from seeing him. He nearly mad it but he slipped and fell in bushs next to the tree. He heard a grunt behind him.

Chapter 5

Hunter slowly turned round. An armolie had seen him. The armolie tried to hit Hunter but Hunter moved out of the way. The Armolie got his arm stuck in a tree. Hunter drawn an arrow and aimed. The armolie roared.Hunter fired right into its mouth. the armolie choked and soon stop and fell down dead still. Hunter looked around its nest must be around here. So he ran blindlessly around the woods. then he saw a path. he got closer he saw...

Chapter 6

Bodies. Lots of them and weapons. Hunter guessed that the apes had also attack the area. He put a foot on the path. Nothing moved, everything was dead. Hunter carefully walked in the village. He saw ruins of a the village, and then walked to the ruins of what he guess was his hut. Inside everthing was on the floor the bed was turned on a side. He put his bed on the right side. Layed his bed. he took his rug of the floor and opened the trap door. He took out his chest out of the trap door. He put it on the side and opened it.

Book 1
Chapter 7

Inside was a cape, arrows and water flask. He took them. He put on the cape also he put in the bag the arrows and the water flask. Went to his bed and fell a sleep. He woke up in the dead of night as a loud howl was holwing. He then stood up. Slow walked to the ruined door. He looked out. A group of wovles and come and were pick of the meat of the bodies. Hunter walked quickly to the next hut and the next hut and the next hut. He was nearly out of the village but then he saw a large wolf he guessed it was leader of the group. Hunter was stuck how could he get out without killing the wolves or the leader as others would be alerted to attack. Hunter was stuck.

Chapter 8

Hunter kneeled down slowly. He kneeled there thinking about the area. Then he remembered. He saw a scokets in the wall. He put in his feet in the wall and pulled himself up. then he jumped down. He took the mud track down to the river where there was a boat used to leave incase of attack. it took a while but the Hunter found the boat. He lowed it down to the river but kept the rope to hold the boat above the river. He jumped in. He got out an arrow and his bow aimed at the rope holding the boat. He fired. The boat splash in the river. Hunter lied down put his cape over him and fell in a deep sleep.

Book 1
Chapter 9

When Hunter woke. He was in a hut. He got up and wondered what had happended. A fuan walked in and said
"Good your awake the chief would like to see you now"
Hunter got up and took his stuff and followed the fuan.
"What is this place?" Hunter asked.
"This is Dark Woods, our village is called Warbow." The fuan said pourdly. Hunter walked in the gates to the what the fuan said was the battle tower. "I'm not allowed to going in with you sorry you must go alone." Hunter open the door. The fuan leader the center of the room.
"Welcome, You must be Hunter."
"I am" Hunter replied
"I'll go right to the point, we heard that we lost the battle of the temple."
"we did" said hunter sadly "I'm the only one that lived"
"I'm so sorry about that but he also heared that the camp was overrun is this ture aswell?"
"I'm sorry to say but yes,everyone was killed." Hunter repiled sadly.
"As again I'm really sorry." The chief said.
"So why do you need my help?" Hunter asked.
"We saw a deadly demon pass in the woods, to the undead mountain."
"If we could kill it and turn the tide in this war!" Hunter said.
"We could but soliders are rare in this time, but i could spare some scouts and you could make a group to pass in mountain and kill this demon. Are you up to it?"
"Sure but could you get the supplies?" Hunter asked
"We try but rest up you will need it." The chief said.
Hunter walked out. The was think that he was the only person to turn this war.

Book 1
Chapter 10

-A few days later-

Hunter awoke but a loud roar. He ran out of his hut. A group of 3 dragons had come. The one in the fount said,
"Whitch one of you is Hunter?"
"I am" Hunter said walk to the dragons.
He bowed. But then the dragons bowed to him.
"but wh-" Hunter began.
"we should bow to you, You lived that battle saw many of us killed and now you are ready to kill the demon? for that we honer you."
The dragons turned to each other one of them gave Hunter a chest. the other a neckless of the dragons.
"thank you" Hunter said to the dragons.
"You are welcome Hunter now we must be of to the battle at tall plains if you live come and help us." The dragon said.
"I will" replied hunter.
The dragons flew off over the mountains and hunter went back to his hut.

Book 1
Chapter 11

Hunter opened his chest. Inside was a dragon bark bow. Then he put on the neckless on. Then he went to see the chief. He said
"i got you two of my most trusted scouts."
He showed hunter two faun. Each one was different. The first one was looking down a the ground as he was against the wall. the second one was sitting on floor meditating.
"They are called" the chief said "the one against the wall is called Leaf but likes to be called.."
"Shadow" He said.
"and they other is called drake but likes to be called...."
"Slick" the one on the floor said as he was getting up.
"please to met you"Slick said holding out his hand.
Hunter went to shake it but then shadow said
"don't shake with him how can we trust him, slick?"
" because the cheif trust us to help him." slick replied.
Shadow walk out of the hall.
"Don't mind him he just sad as his father died last week" slick said
"Well if you see him tell him we are leave tomorrow morning so get some rest ok?" Hunter said kindly.
"I well" Slick replied.
He also left the room. Hunter sighed.
"how is this going to work?" he mutter to himself as he walk out of his room to is hut.
