Not sure what to call it

As the subject says, I couldn't figure out what to call this.  Anyway, I've had a Spyro game idea on my mind for the longest time.  I call it 'Spyro: The Mystic Fountain.  Cheesy, maybe, but anyway, why am I posting here about this, some people may ask.  It's because I don't have the resources needed to make it.  I can, however, make a script for my game idea, but that's the extent of it.  If people think it isn't worth it for me to look for someone to do this game, let me know.  If someone out there is willing to try, let me know.  If someone thinks I should try sending the idea to the current owner of Spyro the Dragon as a possible official game idea, let me know.  Anyway, I will now present a sample of the script, the script for the intro scene, where only the Narrator speaks, but lots of other things happen.  Please give me your thoughts about this based on this sample, or if you need something more to go on, please tell me that as well.  This is all I've done so far, however, just the intro scene.  Anyway, here's the script for it:

[Scene: Space]

Narrator: In the Dragon Realms, there exist three planes.  They are known as...

[Scene: A massive field roaming with Dragons]

the plane of the living...

[Scene: A path with clouds on either side]

the plane above...

[Scene: A path with pits of fire on either side]

and the plane below...

[Scene: Outer Space]

They all existed quite harmoniously amongst each other...Until now.  When a dragon from the plane below takes charge of his world, the three planes are thrown into chaos.  Only one dragon can be counted on to set things right, and that is...

[Scene: Spyro standing alone in a field with mountains in the background]

Spyro the Dragon.  However, this time, he's going to need all the help he can get, and he will recieve it.

[Scene: Four tornadoes, with a green dragon with a tornado mark on his forehead standing in the center of them.  The dragon's name, Gale, is written beneath him.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Gale is flying.  The scene then changes to a flowery meadow, with a pink dragon standing in the center.  The dragon's name, Ember, is written beneath her.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Ember restores health to a poisoned tree.  She then Supercharges some incoming enemies.  The scene then changes again, to a single cloud in the sky, with a white dragon with a halo above her head standing on it.  The dragon's name, Angel, is written beneath her.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Angel is walking through a pitch black cave, her aura lighting up the area.  The scene then changes again, to a yellow dragon with a lightning bolt mark on her forehead standing in a flsh of lightning.  The dragon's name, Storm, is written beneath her.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Storm, on a thin suspended path, shorts out a fan, then destroys it by charging into it.  The scene then changes again, to a volcano, with a red dragon standing in front of it.  The dragon's name, Flame, is written beneath him.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Flame is swimming in lava.  The scene then changes to an underwater town, with a freeze frame of a cyan colored hybrid of a land dragon and a sea dragon swimming through the water.  The name Hydro is written beneath her.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Hydro is using her water breath to flood a chasm.  She then jumps in the water.  The scene then changes again, to a chasm, with a male black dragon standing in front of it.  The dragon's name, Demon, is written beneath him.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Demon walks through a wall to avoid a sentry.  The scene then changes again, to a tundra landscape, with a silver dragon standing at the center of the screen.  The dragon's name, Frost, is written beneath her.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Frost bumps into an enemy, and while she does lose HP, the enemy gets frozen.  The scene then changes again, to a female black dragon standing in front of what seems to be a taller, more sinister version of herself.  The name Cynder is written beneath her.  A cut-scene is then shown, where Cynder walks through a black flame.  The cut-scene is then restarted, but with Spyro replacing Cynder, and when he tries to walk through the flame, he is engulfed by it, the HP count drops to 0 immediately, and when the flame clears, nothing remains.  The scene then changes to a picture of the number of dragons, Spyro included, standing as a group.]

This group of young dragons are the last hope for their world.  If they can't stop this threat, nothing can.

[Scene: A picture similar to the one at the end of the intro movie, but with the dragons standing on the words shown, which spell out 'Spyro: The Mystic Fountain'.  This is also the screen that would be reached if the player interrupted the movie to get straight to the game.  Also, the intro movie will replay if the game sits on this screen long enough.]

Update:  I have completed the script up until the completion of the first level.  Here it is for all those who care.

[Scene: A field.  Nighttime.  Focus on Spyro, who is sleeping.  The scene then fades into a white transition, which then fades out to a dream sequence, where Spyro is standing on a path surrounded by clouds, looking around.]

Spyro: Where is this?

Mysterious Voice: This is the plane above.  It has connections to a new prophecy, as do you.

Spyro: The plane above?  A new prophecy? Do you mind explaining?

Mysterious Voice: A prophecy states 'When the three realms of dragons know true malevolency, the hero of youth shall shed light on existence.'  The prophecy speaks of you, hero.

Spyro: Ok, but what about the plane above?

Mysterious Voice: You'll know in time.  For now, a new task awaits you.  Wake, hero, and go forth.

[White scene transition fades in, then out.  Spyro wakes up and looks around him, then sighs]

Spyro: I'd best consult Ignitus about this.

[Cut-scene: Spyro walks toward the Dragon Village.  Black scene transition.  When it fades out, Spyro is meeting Ignitus.}

Spyro: Ignitus?  I need to talk to you.

Ignitus: I know, Spyro, I know.  You seek answers, correct?

Spyro: Yes

Random Female Dragon: Stop thief!

Spyro: But it looks like answers will have to wait!

[Black scene transition.  Spyro is no under player control.  Upon meeting the Dragon, another cut-scene begins]

Spyro: What happened here?

Dragon: An egg thief has made off with my lone egg!  Please, Spyro, do something!

Spyro (mumbling): Don't I always?

Dragon: The thief went that way, out the window.

[Upon jumping out the window, the thief is shown in a cut-scene.  After chasing him to the place where Spyro woke up, the story branches off for a bit.  If the player kills the thief, nothing really happens before continuing with the main story.  If not, however, than the following things happen.  A cut-scene is shown where the thief opens the seal that was behind Spyro, then he runs inside the cave.  The player then has to follow him inside.  Once inside, another cut-scene begins.  The thief stops, and begins laughing.  He claps his hands together, and a door closes over the cave exits.]

Sparx: I've got a really bad feeling!

Spyro: Gee, ya think!

[The thief then enters a mech, and you have to fight it.  After the first part of the battle, another cut-scene begins.]

Sparx: What?  Nothing happened!

Spyro: Can you say something useful, for once?

Professor: Spyro!  This can help you!

[The Professor tweaks the Superflame power-up used earlier, and the gate begins to glow a golden color.  The thief notices it, and becomes worried.]

Thief: Now going into Destructo Drive!

Professor: Be careful, Spyro.  Good luck.

[The battle then continues, and upon it finishing, another cut-scene begins.]

Sparx: WAAHHHH!!!  It's gonna blow!

Spyro: Shut up and let's just get moving!

[Upon the exit of the cave.  The explosion of the robot bursts out of the cave.  Spyro and Sparx just barely avoid it.]

Spyro: That was close.

Sparx: But what about the egg?

[A black gem and the lost egg roll out of the cave, unscathed by the explosion.]

Spyro: Ok, I'm confused.

Sparx: Let's just go!

Spyro: Alright.

[Control of Spyro is then returned to the player, who has to go back to the mother dragon.  Upon reaching the dragon, another cut-scene takes place.]

Dragon: Thank you Spyro.

Spyro: It was my pleasure.  I always enjoy taking out an egg thief or two.

Dragon: Well, thank you.

[Control the returns to the player, who has to go outside, and into the cave.  Upon approaching the cave, another cut-scene begins.  A large dragon falls, in an unconscious state, from the sky.  Spyro jumps out of the way as the dragon slams into the ground, and Spyro investigates the situation.]

Spyro: Wow.  She's gorgeous.

Sparx: That's a girl?!...Hey, Spyro!  You're taken!  Remember what happened a week ago?

Spyro: Oh yeah!  I still can't believe I got her pregnant.

[White scene transition begins, but is interrupted by Sparx.]

Sparx: Spyro!  Remember the age rating for this game!  It's T, not AO!  No flashbacks of that sort!

Spyro: Sorry.

[The unconscious dragon begins to stir, and as she wakes, Spyro is looming over her.  The dragon awakes, and jumps back.]

Dragon: Who are you?!

Spyro: I'm Spyro.

Dragon: Never heard of ya!

Spyro: Well, I'm busy, so I'll be going.

Dragon:  Wait, I sense that something troubles you.

Spyro: Yeah, but it's something I don't fully understand.

Ignitus: Maybe I can help shed some light on this.

Spyro: What do you mean, Ignitus?

Ignitus: Ill tidings sing in the wind.  Of a force from the world of our ancient ancestors who seek to make themselves known.

Spyro: What?

Ignitus: Our ancient enemy is returning.

Spyro: Ancient enemy?

Ignitus: Indeed.

Dragon: So, Spyro, are you going to investigate this?

Spyro: Yes, I am.

Dragon: Maybe I can help you.

Spyro: I don't know...

Ignitus: Spyro, you will need all the help you can get for the upcoming trials.

Spyro: Well, when you put it that way...I accept.

Dragon: Great!  My name's Laira!

Spyro: Nice to meet you, Laira.

Laira: Let's just go.

Spyro: Alright.

[Control then returns to the player.  A caption scrolls across the bottom of the screen, which says 'Laira, the mysterious dragon, has joined your party.  You can choose to switch party members at any time on the pause screen.  Remember, however, that only one party member, the one you control, can be active at any one time.  Choose carefully, and experiment as you get new characters.'  The player then has to go into the cave, and then exit through the other side.  Outside the cave, at the coast, a cut-scene begins.]

Mysterious Voice: So, the young purple dragon has made himself known to us?

Spyro:  Who's voice is that?

Mysterious Voice: I am Cutter, of the Shadow Shifters.  Leader of Team Alpha!

Spyro: Cutter?

Mysterious Voice: And I am Kannon.  Cutter's right hand soldier.

Spyro: How many of you are there?

Mysterious Voice: One more.  I am Morph.  The low rung on the ladder of Team Alpha.

Spyro: What are the Shadow Shifters?

Cutter: That's none of your business.  Besides, you'll be dead before that knowledge can be put to use!

Cynder: Spyro!

Spyro: Cynder!  Stay back!

Cutter (thinking): Cynder?  The one we truly seek...

[Cynder walks toward Spyro]

Cynder: Spyro, what's going on?

Spyro: Cynder!  I told you, stay back!  These...things are dangerous!  GET OUT OF HERE!!!

Cutter (chanting): Darkness come forth.  Shadows revealed.

Kannon (Interrupting): I have a zit and it's colored teal..

[Everyone stares.  Crickets can be heard in background.]

Cutter: SHUT UP!!

Kannon: Sorry...

Cutter (continuing): Darkness come forth.  Shadows reveal...Oh forget it!  I summon thy dark forces to do my bidding!!!

[A vortex of dark energy rises from Cutter's body, makes a vertical arc in it's path, and engulfs Cynder.]

Spyro: Cynder!

Cynder: Spyro!  Help me!

[Control then switches back to the player, and a boss fight begins.  A caption scrolls across the bottom of the screen, which says 'defeat your foes before time runs out to save Cynder!'  The player can only continue if the conditions are met.  After Cutter's HP reaches half, he uses some AP to generate a shield around himself.  The timer freezes, and as the player continues to attack Cutter, they should notice (unless they're not paying attention to the HP meters) that the barrier neutralizes all damage.  Then, Laira shows up, and notices that the shield actually only protects the front.  The battle continues after Laira attacks Cutter from behind, dispersing his shield.  After the HP meter reaches a quarter of the max, he puts up a full body shield.  A cut-scene then plays.]

Spyro: When will this end?

[A radiant white aura glows off of Laira, and she launches an orb of light energy from her paw.  The battle then continues.  After the battle, Cutter dies, and Cynder is released.  A cut-scene then plays.]

Kannon: Cutter!

Morph: We'll settle this later!  Retreat!

Kannon: Right behind you!

[The two disappear in funnels of dark energy, and the cut-scene continues.]

Cynder (fatigued): Thank you...Spyro.

Spyro: Why were they here?  I have to wonder.

Cynder: Could they have been looking for something?

Professor: They found it!

Spyro, Cynder and Ember: What?!

Professor: Cynder, I'm sorry.  I couldn't stop them.

Cynder: Professor...What happened?

Professor: They have your egg.

Cynder: What?!

Professor: I'm sorry.

Spyro (Distracted Voice): What's that...?

Cynder: Wow!  What a storm!  But, shouldn't it be moving?

Professor: No.  That's Typhoon Island, shrouded in a constant storm.

Cynder: Oh.

Professor: Speaking of Typhoon Island, something is messing up the ecosystem of the island.

Spyro: Really?

Cynder: Should we do something?

Spyro: Not you...You've not recovered.

Cynder: But, I feel fine...

[Cynder faints, and the cut-scene continues.]

Spyro: Cynder!

Dragon: Don't worry.  I'll take care of her.  You do what you need to do.

Spyro: Who are you?

Dragon: I'll tell you later.  For now, Typhoon Island needs all of you.

Spyro: Right.  Let's go, Laira!

Professor: I can help you get there, but that's as far as I go down that road.

Spyro: Ok, that's all you have to do.  We'll take care of the rest.

Laira: No, I think you should stay here.  It looks really violent over there.

Spyro: But...!

Laira: No, that's enough.

Professor: I've recently learned that the swirling winds of the storm exist all throughout the island.  Not just outside it.  Maybe she's right.

Spyro: But what can she do that I can't?

[As if by cue, Laira produced a barrier of light energy.]

Spyro: What will that do?

Laira: Neutralize anything that comes my way.

Spyro: Fine.  I'll leave it up to you, Laira.

Laira: I won't disappoint.

[Control returns to the player at this point.  The character is automatically changed to Laira upon entry to Typhoon Island.  After arriving there, a green dragon tackles Laira viciously]

Dragon: Why are you here?

Laira: Please, I mean you no harm.

Dragon: Explain yourself!

Laira: I have merely come to help you.

Dragon: Help?  You mean the ecosystem problem?

Laira: Yes...Now, do you mind getting off.

Dragon: Sorry.

[Black Scene Transition fades in, then out to the dragon walking beside Laira.]

Dragon: I am Typhoon.  I guard this island with my life.

Laira: What's important here that made you choose to do that?

Typhoon: My son...

Laira: Your son?

Typhoon: Yes.  He has the power to save the universe, just as his great ancestor did, long ago.

Laira: So, what's going on with the ecosystem?

Typhoon: It started when a dark mass fell into the lake.  We sent an investigation squad, but no one returned.

Laira: I see.  Where is the lake?

Typhoon: It's at the center of the island.  If you're going, be careful.

Laira: I know.

[Control is then returned to the player.  When the player reaches the lake, a cut-scene plays (don't worry, there shouldn't be too short of a time between arriving at the island and this happening.)  The water bubbles, and four tentacles come out of the lake.  After the fight with them, another cut-scene plays.  The whole body rises.]

Creature: Well, you're different from the rest.

Laira: *bleep* right I am!

Creature: However, you are no match for me, Octogone of Team Pi!

Laira: We'll see about that!

[The real fight then begins.  After the fight, Octogone plummets into the water.  A cut-scene then begins.]

Typhoon: You did it!

Dragon: What's going on?

Typhoon: Gale!  There you are!

Laira: You were looking for him?

Typhoon: Yes.

[The water bubbles again, and a tentacle lashes out and wraps around Gale.]

Gale: Father!

Laira: Impossible!

[Octogone emerges from the water, and begins to levitate away from the island, taking Gale with him.]

Octogone: Finally, I've got him!

Typhoon: I will not lose my son to that monstrosity!

[Typhoon flies up to Octogone at a speed that resembles teleportation, and kicks Octogone down toward the water.  Laira then attacks Octogone with a ball of light energy from her paw.  Octogone is destroyed in a violent explosion, but that leaves Gale to fall toward the water.  Typhoon is fatigued, so Laira vibrates the air, slowing Gale's fall, then Gale is able to flip over right before hitting the water.  He kicks off of the water, and soars up to Laira.]

Gale: Thank you.

Laira: It was my pleasure, Gale.  I'm Laira, by the way.  I must be going now.

Gale: Where to?

Laira: Back to Dragon Village.  Farewell!

[As she takes off, Typhoon waves farewell to her]

Typhoon: Come on Gale.

Gale: You can't be serious!

Typhoon: What do you mean, Gale?

Gale: Hello!  That was a Shadow Shifter just now.  This is my time to shine among the clan!

Typhoon: Gale...

Dragon: Let him go, honey.

Typhoon: Cyclone...

Cyclone: Typhoon.  You always say that Gale will do great things one day.  This is his destiny.  It was bound to happen, you know that as well as I do.

Typhoon: I know.  It's just so hard to let him go.

Cyclone: I know, honey.  I know.  Gale!

Gale: Yes mother.

Cyclone: Go with her.

Gale: Thank you, mother.

[Gale takes off after Laira, and catches up to her as she leaves the winds around the island.]

Gale: Laira!  Wait!

Laira: What is it?

Gale: I'm coming with you!

Laira: Ok, but be careful.

[Black scene transition fades in and out, then a caption scrolls across the bottom of the screen, which says 'The young wind dragon, Gale, has joined the party.'  A cut-scene the begins on the shore.]

Spyro: You're back!

Laira: Yeah, and I brought a friend.

Gale: Hello every...Spyro?!

Spyro: Um, that didn't make sense.

Gale: Um...Yeah, I'm just so happy to finally meet you that I cut myself off.

Spyro: Ok...

[The dragon who had been taking care of Cynder walks out of the cave on to the coast at that time.]

Dragon: Cynder's going to be fine.  She's resting now.

[Cynder yawns from off-screen, then comes on-screen.]

Dragon: You should be in bed, Cynder.

Cynder: I'm fine, Alikaa.  Don't worry about me.

Spyro: So, you're name's Alikaa?

Alikaa: Yes.  Anyway, are you sure your ok, Cynder?

Cynder: Yes!  Now then, what do we do next?

Spyro: I don't know.

Gale: First, we shuld head to Floral Meadow.  We have to enlist as much help as possible.

Spyro: Who's at Floral Meadow?

Gale: Ember is there.

Spyro: Ember?!  That's where she's been?

Gale: Yes.  The many floral aromas there relieve stress.  No doubt she went there after she found out that you didn't want her, Spyro.  However, shortly after arriving there, she got put in danger, and no one has heard word of or from her since.  Something must be going on over there.

Spyro: Oh no...

Cynder: We can't just stand around here!  We have to do something!

[Suddenly, the water of the sea begins bubbling.  Out of the water comes a large structure, which is lifted into the sky.]

Cynder: What is that?

[Ignitus walks onto the shore at that point.]

Ignitus: The Shadow Shifters' Fortress?!  I fear the end of the world as we know it could be at hand if they are not stopped!

Cynder: What can we do?

Gale: First we have to find all those who can help us.  There are a number of them, and all of them are needed.

Spyro: Well then, let's not waste any time.

[Spyro and Laira run off toward Dragon Village]

Gale: You too, Cynder, have a part to play in this.

Cynder: Me?

Gale: Yes, you.  A part shared by me and the other young dragons that must be found.

Cynder: I see.  So it was destiny for me to meet Spyro when I did.

Gale: I suppose so.

Cynder: Well, let's not just stand around here all day.

Alikaa: Cynder, don't you have something you want to tell Spyro?

Cynder: Oh yes, I do, don't I?

[Cynder and Gale then run off after Spyro and Laira.]

Re: Not sure what to call it

Yes, but as I said, I unfortunately don't have the resources to make it.  Do you think I should see if Krome Studios would take this as an idea for an official game, or would that be a bad idea?

Re: Not sure what to call it

I just finished up to the entrance into the realm above.  Here it is!

[Cynder and Gale catch up to Spyro and Laira.]

Cynder: Spyro, I forgot to tell you...

Spyro: Tell me what?

Cynder: Alikaa found our egg!

Spyro: What?  How?

Cynder: I don't know.

Spyro: Oh well, that doesn't matter.

[Alikaa walks on-screen.]

Alikaa: I guess you guys have a destiny awaiting you.

Gale: Yeah.

Alikaa: Spyro, Cynder, don't forget.  Even as we speak, the Year of the Dragon draws nigh.  Please return to us before your child hatches.

Spyro: Right.

Cynder: Please Alikaa.  If we don't return by that time, even if they don't understand, tell our child that we will return to them shortly.  Also, if we don't return, take care of our child for us.  If it comes to it, they'll be in your care.

Alikaa: I understand.  Good luck.  You have to come back.  Your child needs you.

Spyro: We'll be back.  You can count on it.

Alikaa: I'll hold you to that.

[Control then returns to the player.  Upon reaching the Forest Path, which links Dragon Village with the Floral Meadow, a cut-scene plays.]

Spyro: This is the Forest Path.

Gale: Careful, we don't know what kind of things the Shadow Shifters have done to this place.

Spyro: Right.  Let's go.

[Control is then returned to the player.  Upon reaching the end of the area, a plant is seen blocking the exit to the Forest Path, and a cut-scene plays.]

Spyro: What's going on here?  This plant's vines are blocking the path!

Cynder: I'm not sure what's going on here, but...

[Suddenly, the plant becomes mobile, and roars menacingly.]

Gale: Look out!  It's going to strike!

[The group all jump out of the way of the attack, and a boss battle begins.  After the defeat of the Wicked Weed, a cut-scene plays.]

Spyro: Geez!  If that kind of monster is guarding the Meadow, I can only wonder what's going on in the meadow itself!

Cynder: I'm getting worried about Ember.

Gale: Same here.

[Control is then returned to the player, who has to go into the meadow.  When Ember is approached, a cut-scene is played.]

Spyro: Ember!

Ember: Spyro...Get away...

Gale: No way are we doing that!

[A Shadow Shifter that resembles a large plant then emerges from underground, and with a vine around Ember's waist, she is lifted into the air.]

Ember: Spyro!!!

Spyro: Hey!  Put her down!

???: You think you can order me around?  Fools!  I am the great Floral Phantom!

Laira: We don't care who you are!  We will chop you down like a tree if we have to!

Floral Phantom: Very funny!

[A boss battle then begins.  If you attack Ember by accident, she says the following line.]

Ember: Hey!  I'm not the enemy here!

[Anyway, after the boss battle, the Floral Phantom withers, and Ember is released.  Then, a cut-scene plays.]

Ember: Thanks, you guys!

Spyro: No problem.

[Ember then approaches Gale, and kisses him on the cheek.  Gale blushes, and the cut-scene continues.]

Spyro: What a flirt she is, just like always.

Sparx: Tell me about it.

Cynder: Well, flirt or not, she's our friend.  As such, we must accept her for what she is, both the good qualities and the bad.

Spyro (mumbling): Yeah, but it'll be real hard to get used to her bad qualities.

[As Spyro says that, Ember trots over to him.]

Ember: I'm right here!

Spyro: Huh?  Oh...Oops.

[Ember giggles victoriously at that point.]

Ember: Well, I think we should get back to Dragon Village.

Spyro: I agree.

[Control is then returned to the player, and the controlled character is returned to Dragon Village.  At that time, a cut-scene plays.]

Ember: I didn't realize that so many trees had died.

Spyro: Horrible, isn't it?

Ember: Yeah, but I can fix that.

[Control is then returned to the player, and a caption scrolls across the bottom of the screen, which says 'As Ember, press the action button next to a dead plant to revive the plant.  Try it out on the trees around the village that fell victim to the dark energies, and see what happens.'  After all the trees are healthy again, the next area, the Lair of the Golem, becomes accessible by going between the two trees that, when dead, had been blocking a cave.  After getting through the cave, a large room is reached, with a large monolith in the middle.  Dark energy suddenly coarses through the monolith, and it comes to life, as the Golem.  A cut-scene then plays.]

Cynder: What is that?

Gale: A Golem.  Usually a statue possessed by a vengeful or dark supernatural force.

Spyro: Ok, what do we do about it?

Sparx: Isn't that obvious?  We destroy it!

Ember: He's right, it's the only way.

Laira: Ok, I'm in.

Spyro: Let's do it, everyone.

[A boss battle then begins.  After the defeat of the Golem, a glow comes from the Golem, and the source of the glow zips outside the cave, which Spyro and the group follow.  Outside, the light heads up into the sky, and a column of light shines down from above.  A cut-scene the begins.]

Spyro: What is it?

Ember: I don't know.

Gale: It is the gateway to the realm above.

Cynder: My body is tingling.  Something doesn't feel right.

Spyro: This is no time to think about that!  Let's go!

[The group then enters the column of light, and are transported to the realm above.]

Re: Not sure what to call it

Shipping theories! Loads of fan characters there for no reason! Attempts to mold the canon into something else entirely!

Most of all... ABSOLUTELY NO GAMEPLAY INFO AT ALL.

The story isn't worth anything without gameplay... not that this story would even have a theorical chance of being featured in a canon Spyro game for the reasons mentionned above.

So, all in all: You have failed in making a believable game idea. Try again.

This is more of a fanfiction than anything else (which isn't that bad of a fact... but if it's a game that you want, it's no good). Also, get some sprite rips (or better: if you can, make them), learn some programmation language/get a game making program and then, go nuts. You'll feel a lot better and actually get closer to your goal at the same time.

Posting your game's script on the internet and whining about being never able to make it will lead you nowhere.

NOTE: I would also like to add that begging people to make your game is extremely stupid and as a general rule, frowned upon as well as give you a bad reputation. I suggest you stop doing this as although myself and the two other users who posted on this thread seems to tolwrate it, this isn't the case for the other 99% people on the internet out there.

Re: Not sure what to call it

I didn't knew that disagreeing with someone was not allowed.

I believe that I am allowed not to hail every single piece of script thrown at people and to believe that the author of this thread seems to be putting far more effort into doing what seems to be a fanfic rather than a game (which is, if I'm not mistaken, the author's original intent).

But then, I have already stated my opinion so I guess that posting in this thread is no longer needed. If you want to argue with me then do it via PM.

Well, I'm working on another document that is more based around the things that the script doesn't cover, and also, I have a game maker, just not the right kind.  I would need one similar to the one used to make Kingdom Hearts, where there are no battle sequences, but still the RPG element of leveling up, so that's why I can't make it myself.  I would do it myself if I could, but I don't have the correct kind of game maker, and I'm not about to pay for a game maker.  Also, I'm not begging for someone to make this for me.  I'm asking for opinions on whether or not I should try to have this made.

Re: Not sure what to call it

Hi devonm0, I think your idea is good enough for a game treatment. You have your work cut out for you. I would gladly help you with this project of yours but as you know I am extremely busy working on the first LOA film, games and the two, soon to be three, ongoing written series. My time is extremely limited on that front however if I can't get ahead in my own projects then I will try to assist you. Keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to you and everyone else here.

Oh, Spyrorocks, I am sorry but the website won't be online until January. I am just too busy working on the film and various other projects to get it up right now. I however will be uploading the first 2 episodes of season two of Dragon of Destiny tomorrow. They are shorter episodes then last seasons but then again with the work on the film shifting to high gear my time to work on longer episodes is nonexistent. I will keep writing new episodes for both Spyro: Dragon of Destiny: Invasion and and the futuristic spin-off Vanguardian Heroes: Team Skyler over the next few months. I will soon have the script for the film up for you guys to read. I am taking my time to do the script well. I have written scripts before and I do have the necessary software for this. The first film trailer will appear as animated gif that will be in storyboard form.

Re: Not sure what to call it

I realize that I have my work cut out for me, expecially considering the the genre I am hoping the game to be.  I am hoping to have it turn out as an Action RPG (an RPG without battle sequences), but it might not turn out that way.  Anyway, I have a lot of work ahead of me just for the basics of the game.

I've put a lot of thought into this, and I hope I can get the attention of someone, if I can't get assistance from the people of this forum.  I have high hopes for this project of mine, and I'll be sticking to it.  To anyone who cares, I'm also trying to make a fanfiction version.  Finally, I may take my fan characters out of the game version, but only if I get suggestions to do that.  I'll find a way around it if it comes to that.

do you got a PSP?

if you do, consider coding your game in LUA for the psp. Its a very flexable, easy to use language.

Re: Not sure what to call it

No, I don't have a PSP, unfortunately.  Is there anyway else I can use LUA?

Re: Not sure what to call it

Sorry to revive a dead topic, but I just wanted to tell all who care that I have recieved permission from Krome to send them information about my game for them to look at.  Also, I have made a final decision to only include the appearances of pre-made Spyro characters.  Yes, I took out my fan characters, and am working on setting up the ground work in text form (things like area descriptions etc.)  Again, sorry for reviving this dead topic.

Re: Not sure what to call it

[Ember then approaches Gale, and kisses him on the cheek.  Gale blushes, and the cut-scene continues.]

Spyro: What a flirt she is, just like always.

Sparx: Tell me about it.

Spyro (mumbling): Yeah, but it'll be real hard to get used to her bad qualities.

[As Spyro says that, Ember trots over to him.]

Ember: I'm right here!

Spyro: Huh?  Oh...Oops.

This makes me HATE Spyro in this game!Maybye Ember can kick Spyro's butt one time then through him in a garbage can!(Reading that whole thing gave me a headache.) mad  >_<

Re: Not sure what to call it

I've actually been modifying the script a bit, partially to support the removal of my fan-characters (actually, to be honest, some of my fan characters, including two new ones, are still in the project).  I simply hope that Krome agrees to use this idea at some point.  Also, I'm thinking of adding and enhancing the Level-up upgrade system from A New Beginning.  Anyone think this is a good idea?
