Amy: *falls asleep next to Sonic*

Cosmo: well so are you, you're outside.
Tails: Yeah but...
Cosmo: Look, why don't you just come in here?
Tails: *blushing* uh...uh...uh....
Cosmo: It's okay, it's really cold out.
Tails: O-o-okay....*Tails goes inside the tent, and lies down.....Cosmo was right...it was cold outside compared to the temp inside the tent...then Cosmo lies down, placing her head in the crook of his arm..he falls back asleep...smiling*

Sonic: *starts having a horrible nightmare* No, not that, please. *sees his friends being killed by Mephiles one by one, starting with Fire, then Star, Silver, Shadow, Knuckles, Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, Cosmo, Tails and finally Amy*

Mephiles: *in his mind* Your friends are gone, now it's your turn. *unleashes Chaos Lance on Sonic*

Sonic: *bolts awake, breathing heavily and sweating*

Silver:*Notices Star was crying*Is there something wrong?Did you have a nightmare?
Star:The same one...every week...The same nightmare...
Silver:Tell me everything.
Star:Well,I'm walking with Rose,she's my only friend,and out of nowhere she gets swallowed by darkness...and I all alone...and a voice keeps saying..."Only the purest of heart,can seal up the Dark."I don't like sound of it...
Silver:*Hugs her to comfort her*Neither do I...But you have all of us now...
Star:Thank you...

*Cosmo happens to have a bad dream as well.....it is the metarex...and they capture Tails and torture him in front of her eyes saying "You belong with us.....he does not.....you do not belong together.....etc." when they throw him across the room she wakes up*
Cosmo: NO!
Tails: Cosmo what's wrong?
Cosmo: the metarex...and you....and....and....and I.....*she cries*
Tails: *holds her* It's okay Cosmo...It was just a bad dream.....
Cosmo: Yeah....but it felt so real...
Tails: Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you....

*Tails falls asleep as well, a little concerned for Cosmo. He hoped that it was just a nightmare....that Cosmo wouldn't sleep walk again. He sighs and goes to sleep as well...their dreams joining to create a serene atmosphere.*

Sonic: If you must know, it was with Mephiles killing all of you one by one. First it was Fire, then Star, Silver, Shadow, Knuckles, Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, Cosmo, Tails and finally you.

Amy: It was only a nightmare, it's nothing to worry about.

Sonic: You know how powerful Mephiles is. He could make it come true, that nightmare could become a reality!

Tails: *T* What have I gotten Cosmo into? I could've left her back at station square, where she'd be safe....but no...I was selfish, and I dragged her into this mess....and she doesn't even know how bad it is herself...she's like oblivious to the danger.....*
*Flashback*
Cosmo: Tails....you make me feel so safe. So secure. I love you....
*End of flashback*
Tails: *T* No....she came because she loves me....and I have to be ready to lay down my life for her.....because I can't imagine how I'd feel if she was hurt or....killed....because of something I did...*
Cosmo: *stirs* Tails? Is everything okay?
Tails: *smiles down at her and rests his head on top of hers* Yeah, everything is fine. *he falls back asleep*
