Something I wondered about the Breeze Builders and Land Blubbers...
Were they even aware that Spyro was helping both of them? 'Cause to me, they seemed completely oblivious to this. Maybe the designers did this so that you could see the conflict through both side's eyes or something...

Re: Something I wondered about the Breeze Builders and Land Blubbers...
The conflict was made that way for two reasons.
1. To add a comical sense that Spyro knew what was going on for both sides, while both sides tried to maintain the opinion that the other side was the "bad guys".
2. To see the conflict not from a baised point of view.

I always thought that was really funny, how that happened, and LoneNight's right in both aspects. You, know, picking up the gears on the Breezebuilders level was my fave mini game on that game.
What can I say? I just love video games! But I happily don't let them control my life. Let that be a lesson to you

that conflict always seems funny to me
it would've been funny if you could have gone to a world and helped the Earthshapers defeat the evil fauns, haha!!!
just a nice contrast again.

You are a Spyro fan. but the land lubbers said the the breezebuilders had 'pinned them down' and the breezebuilders said they wanted a 'counterattack on Zephr'.

I just think that Spyro wanted the talisman, but wanted to gain their trust first.

Spyro: Give meh the talisman or your side will lose!
Breezebuilder: Calm down man here it is *gives talisman*.

My favorite aspect of that conflict was the Private Romeo and Juliet mini-game.
Juliet: "How I've missed my Romeo. If he wasn't so short, we'd get married."

haha!! i thought that minigame was ridiculously amazing too!
did anyone notice how Romeo said they were going to go on their honeymoon, but Juliet said they weren't married yet?
hmmm.
misunderstandings between couples even in video games.

Re: Something I wondered about the Breeze Builders and Land Blubbers...
that whole battle was really cool. the reason i always thought spyro could switch between sides so easily was that he was always fighting the agressors. He defended both their homeworlds from the other, kind of like a peacekeeping mission.
And by the way, for any of you turning into a penguin, stop it.
