Elora, huzzah!
Well, someone had to start this thread.
Does anyone else here like Elora? In case anyone's missed it, I'm a huge fan of her (I'm making a website and everything).
I'm not really sure what to say about her at the moment, but I'm sure I'll think of something. For now, this is the obligatory "let's talk about Elora" thread. Post videos, art, anything you like so long as it's about Elora (and follows the rules of this site, of course
).

Re: Elora, huzzah!
yea, I like Elora too. All the characters are good, but she is one of the better Spyro characters. I also like Hunter. Next to Spyro he is my favorite. The little dudes from Crystal Glacier are cool too

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Elora's a very smart and rational faun, kinda contrary to what I usually define a faun's behavior. She has common sense, which I suppose saves a lot of people's butts in awkward situations. It's too bad that she only appeared in a few Spyro games.

Re: Elora, huzzah!
I think Elora rocks! I was kinda disappointed that she and Spyro didn't hook up for the rest of the original series. She's probably a good problem solver (and probably likely to have been the leader of the defenders in Ripto's Rage).

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Elora is my favourite Spyro character and it's disappointing that she hasn't appeared since YotD.

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Actually.... Elora also appeared as a card in Spyro: Fusion (Orange?). Not that it's a significant appearance... I mean... If it weren't for the name on the card, I probably can't tell that it was Elora's face on the card. x_x
I have to wonder why the newer developers pay little to no attention to Elora though... Then again, it may has been a good thing that they didn't. >_>

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Elora/Spyro is the best couple ever. XD They're so strange together, and yet, they are completely canon. XD

Re: Elora, huzzah!
I would love to see their relationship developes further as well... Canonically, that is. That was probably one of the main reasons why I tried playing the Spyro games (mostly home-consoles) after Ripto's rage.
Unfortunately, it seems that we won't be getting any more canonical relationship development for Spyro and Elora. = /
On a side note, I really couldn't tell that Elora is a faun when I see her for the first time.... Did the rest of you realized that Elora is a faun upon your first glance of her? >_>

Re: Elora, huzzah!
I'd be happy just to see her again in the games. She really got the short stick once other developers started making the series.
I knew she was a faun when I first saw her, but I thought she was an interesting-looking one. I've always had a thing for mythology.

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Hmm... Now that I think about it, I can sorta see Elora in the third LoS game.
Warning: Some LoS: TEN Spoilers are hidden below
But yes, I'd be contend with just seeing Elora again... I'm hoping that her personality will remain mostly the same though.

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Yeah, she had a great personality in the original games. I really looked up to her (at the time, she was the only really strong female in a leadership role I'd ever seen in a game).

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Yeah, character-wise, Elora seems to be ahead of her time... I still wonder why Elora's personality is different from the other fauns in Spyro 2:RR though.... Hmm... Maybe something to do with being force to be around Hunter too much?
If Elora appears in the third LoS game, I think it'd be interesting to see what kind of design Krome will give her character.

Re: Elora, huzzah!
My guess is that a large part of Elora's different personality is that she is a different kind of faun entirely, raised in a different culture (or not by her own race at all; it's hard to say since she's the only faun of her kind we ever see in the games).

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Yeah, that's probably what happened... From the look of it, Elora could even be raised by both her own race and other race of creatures, seeing as she still has some faun-ish moral to go with her personality.
Out of all the fauns I've seen, Elora is one of the few ( If not the only one ) that can catch a sheep and toss them. I don't know about you, but I see that as a very unique characteristic for a faun to have. :-P

Re: Elora, huzzah!
Its unfair how Elora does come back in one of the Spyro games (forgot which one) yet she is there for 2 minutes

Re: Elora, huzzah!
I kinda missed Elora since I started playing other non insomniac spyro games. Come too think of it, but maybe Elora might apper in the last legend of spyro 3 game because hunter was in Avalar as shown at the of the second LOS game. I just hope that the same thing won't happed because in shadow legacy Avalar appered but Elora didn't!

I really miss Elora, she was a great character. I don't think I'd want her in the new games though, her personality would have to change too much I think D:
