I didn't like scorch too much. Don't get me wrong, all Spyro levels are great. Scorch just made you feel like you were running around in circles and the areas all look the same.

And yes, magma cone's music was annoying. It may be a bit awkward, but I thought the monster voice was saying "OHHHH YEAH, YEAH . . . OH YEAH , YEAH . . . " and so on.

Robotica Farms was one of the only levels I actually hated. I generally found it boring.

Ok well they are all good in this game but i think the worst would have to be Fracture Hills. This gets annoying and i hate having to use supercharge and free that girl. I dont like freeing the guys in the statues either they start to annoy me after awhile as well

Yeah, after you finish the level once, freeing the satyrs is rather annoying after a while, but if you press the START button when they start to play their flutes, their song will be shortened by a lot.

Also, I forgot to mention Mystic Marsh. I think it's a good level, but I just get bored with it after a while. I think it may be because of the beige-ish color scheme.

fracture hills was annoying but I did like the bagpipe music when you free a satr and its the only level were you see hunter use his bow

The best thing in fracture hills was probaly the part how yu had tp escort the alchemist to hunter. I found it pretty fun.

I never liked many levels on this game at all...
But my least favorites would have to be Mystic Marsh (The guy with the talisman is WEIRD), that one with the fat guy you have to sneak-follow into the palace thing, Robotic Farms (Fear of bugs), and Fracture Hills (Hated the plants that eat you).

Sorry about the long post, I tend to rant when it comes to the brilliance of Insomniac's level design.

I actually loved Fracture Hills. The minigames and enemies were a little challenging, and bordered on frustrating at times, but they were fun. The pigs were hilarious, as was the bagpipe music.

Cloud temples is another one of my favorites. The ice-flame minigame is cool, and I really liked the MGS-style minigame where you had to trail the spy. Concept-wise, I think this was one of the best levels in the game. It was essentially a magical floating cloud city where you could lower the bridges and ring the bell in the dale. Very cool.

As for Mystic Marsh, it was different becuase it really took the semi-non linear design of Spyro levels and kicked it up. One of the things the original Spyro was known for was the fact that you could explore the levels, and that there wasn't always a clear path. For instance, if you look at some of the early Crash games, you're essentially walking down a tunnel. Mystic Marsh has a general direction you have to travel in, but there are many paths. Adding to the non-linear element was the miniquest you had to do for the professor, in which you traded up for the pencil by interacting with various creatures.

I thought that the levels in Spyro 2 were the best in the series.

I do not remember what the level Fracture Hills was like, but I do not think I liked the level with all those pink people with bones in their hair being chased by raptors very much. (The level the title screen is in!) I also did not really like Robotica Farms very much, just because those robot mechanical-bee creatures really, really, really annoyed me!

Fracture Hills was where you had to free all the centaurs and they would play the bagpipes and break the stone encasing the temple.

Robotica Farms was cool, but very annoying with that one minigame.

Also, the level you're thinking of is Skelos Badlands. Not one of my favorites in terms of design, but the characters who lived there are very endearing, with their dancing skeletons and funny way of speaking.

Man, I completely agree with you. Mystic Marsh was really non-linear and that's what made it unique. It was a great level, I just wish the colors were a bit more vibrant.

Back to worst levels, I was never really liked Zephyr or Colossus, myself. I don't really know why, though.

really? Zephyr is one of my favourite levels smile but i kinda agree with you on Colossus. That level was ok but it was a bit bland looking.

I think Metropolis was the worst.
I kept dieing I hate that level.

everybody mostly hates fracture hills.. its actually not that bad but my worst would be Glimmer play it wayyyyy to much! everytime you start a new game its getting boring now
