Actually, I'm betting that's almost exactly what they'll look like for TDH as well. Look at the concept art for the game and then that image; specifically Spyro's wings. They've never looked like that before except in the concept art and renders for TDH/the movie, and Cynder has her weird ~jewelry~ on.
Ten bucks says everyone's already noticed this and I'm just squawking like a parrot.
I hope to goodness they decrease the puffy chests at least a LITTLE. They look so silly. XD

I'd like them to look more like they do in TEN, and the commercials (I still haven't seen the TEN one, and nobody seems to know where to find it either) And I agree with you, the need to bring the chests down at least a bit. The TEN FMV models were fine, except they were not the best quality and could've used more detail.

I'm surprised that they're changing their looks for the new game. Very different. Especially with the older, matured look. Still don't know if I like it or not. It's just different.

Hmm. If Spyro and Cynder went through a change like that, I wonder how the apes and other monsters will look. Hopefully they got a new change as well.

Well I think they did grow up, because I've been seeing the title "Spyro grows up" on most of the links for Dawn of the Dragon on google.

Chris Wilson has confirmed that DotD takes place a few years after TEN and that Spyro and Cynder are indeed older.

But they don't look that much older, a year or two older maybe, but past that...nah. Meh, thanks to Razz for the find...even if I don't like the info.
And the links from google say that because people see Spyro's bigger wings and go 'he's grown up!'. He's still a kid, just a little older. smile

I know. The date on the past is about six months old. And if you look at other posts I've made in this thread, you'll see just how often I myself have been telling people that that isn't from the movie. But, at the time, we all thought it was.

And spyro does'nt have Soo BIg wings when he were younger,if you have played the game eternal night,in the end spyro makes a big gem and in the new game,Dawn of the dragon,that like 3 years ago when they're awakned...and hunter is Soo cooler now than before!he doesn't have a big head anymore! big_smile i just needed to say that.. o_O

I really like cynders new appearance because now that noise and mouth doesn't disturb me.

and by looking at how she moves i would say she's trying to charm spyro.

spyro looks alright expect for that mouth (or lips) seriously they look like he went snobbying and become rich.

Well I for one liked both of their looks...especially Cynder's....that was spot on...despite the fact a lot of people still think she is purple @[email protected] anyways I'm convinced that they didn't age at all between TEN and DotD...they were froze in time...and their personalities havn't changed...it was just a change in art style....

Not really lol...that is a completely different design for Spyro not placed in DotD. Those are the designs that they should use...but wont I'm guessing. Just another thing to screw up.
