What we must hope

I hope that the movie will contain every part of the games' story and plot and not like Eragon which contained not even the half facts that the book stated.Also,I hope that the voices will be played by the same actors as on the games.It would suck very much if they changed that.Also,the movie's graphics(as I saw from the posters that appeared on Velvet Octopus and other)will be like Dawn of the Dragon ones or with the ANB and TEN ones.They can't change Spyro's design that easy(this counts and for old Spyro design to LoS one and even better DotD one).We must also hope that the movie will be a big hit!

I will always prefer classic Spyro to everything else, but Dawn of the Dragon is a close second. I'm excited that they finally grew him up, especially with those awesome big wings!
But I definitely wasn't so hot on the first LoS design; his head was huuuuuge and he looked like (to me) the victim of some horrible, deforming illness.

Pretty sure they'll be good about sticking to the facts for the movie, they wouldn't dare mess up again after that Eragon monstrosity - or would they? XD

the Dawn of the Dragon design is a lot more believable. I mean come on, those wings he had in previous games could never make him aerodynamic, they're way too small! I like the more mature approach, he's stayed relitively samey for years, it's nice to see he's grown up a bit. smile

Out of all the looks Spyro's had, I like the TEN one the best (or at least the FMV look).
The DotD look is cool, but...I dunno, there's something I don't like as much about it...meh.

Maybe we just have to get used to it. I recall it took me a while to get used to the new Spyro look when the Legend series began, and now I really like it.

That looks DID take a bit of getting used to, yeah. Its mainly the art (not the paintings, but the shiny model type ones) that I'm not so much a afan of.

Will always love the original design.

Hated Spyro's style when I saw him in ANB. I finally got over it after TEN. Meh, guess I felt sorry for him being stuck in that block or something ...

The DotD style is ok. I've gotten past the disgusted stage. It's just ok now. But this one definitely comes far behind and takes 3rd place for me.

I'm not even going to be nice about it. ERAGON SUCKED! Not only was it miles away from the book, BUT THE WHOLE MOVIE TOOK ITSELF TOO SERIOUSLY! The characters had an ever constipated look on their faces!
Sure, it was supposed to be epic and I'm not saying it needed to get monty python silly, but even The Lord of the Rings had some freakin' comedic moments in it!!!! mad
