Spyro Appearing on nintendo Wii/ PS3

Even though I don't have a Wii, Spro would be totally wicked on it!!
It'd be like you were the legendary Purple Dragon, Spyro!!!

....Oh sorry, anyway, Yeah, from what I experienced from the Wii, Spyro would be one hell of an interesting game.

I'm collecting and beating all the games so I'll just sit and watch until the next one come out. I'm saving up my money to buy which ever one comes out with Spyro. I still think it will be Sony though. I agree, PSP all the way. big_smile

It seems like game companies now are trying to make their games universal, for all systems. I've even seen some games that you can play on both Wii and PSX. You probably won't have to worry about getting a new system for awhile if all you want to play on it are Spyro games.

Well, it's kind of obvious that it will be at least for the PS3 because all of the companies that have made Spyro, from past to present, all have contracts with Sony.

While Spyro did have origins from the Sony consoles, I'm still doubting I could even get a PS3. Firstly there's the whole price thing, then there's their less-than-impressive launch titles, and thirdly - the most important thing at all - the European consoles have reduced compatability with PS2 games. As cute as my current collection is (from the top of my head some Crash games, all three PS2 Spyro titles, Sly Cooper series, Ratchet & Clank series, Jak adventure titles, Kingdom Hearts I and II, We Love Katamari, Disgaea series... the list can go on >.<), I will be gutted to see any of my more likely to replay titles being unable to play on that console.

For me, the PS2 really worked with the graphics leap as well as adapting to additional DVD and PS1 game support. If we have to shell about Â£400 for a console that can't even do half of what the PS2 did, what's the point in buying it?

With that, my choice is down to the XBox360 (which I'm barely fond of most of the games that came out on the original XBox console) and the Wii (which I'm barely fond of their heavy emphasis on Mario). But if any console has to win me over, the game selection is one thing that must work straight from the word go. I want to see some developments over the next 12 months, and then maybe I'll make my selectinon.

I don't know, it helped get Sonic back on his feet through Sonic and the Secret Rings. A control revolution can be the way forward.

Future games of spyro should go to the PS3 as it would just make gameplay friken awesome. from a PS3 website i saw a list of upcoming games for the PS3 and happen to see spyro in the list.

You see, if they put Spyro on the PS3 and the Wii, they'd concentrate more on those versions of the game, since they're more "next gen."
Call me a dinosaur, but I love my PS2 and it's all I can afford. :-P

I think spyro should be open to all the game consoles because not everyone will have the PS3 or the Wii but might have other consoles. sad .

I wouldn't think that it would just be for just a couple of consoles because since this is a trilogy and ANB was basically on all the consoles (PS2, XBOX, MOBILE, GAMECUBE, GAMEBOY ADVANCED, AND NINTENDO DS), then I'm strongly sure that the next two spyro games would be on the same consoles. smile wink cool . NO FEARS, NO WORRIES, NO DOUBTS.

I personally think that Spyro should go for PS3, as a majority. It would be a step up in the Spyro series, and I think that everyone here basically wants a step up. PS3 is the future. o.0

It would be quite the interest if it appeared on Wii Fi. You could walk around .. go harder for run, press for blow and even accually jump for jumping. I don't know how it all would be but I'd say that PS3 would be the best choice.
